He was a charter member of the Irving Park Christian Reformed Church, Midland Park, where he served as elder, and was a member of the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church, Wyckoff.

JOHN J. SZCZYGIEL, 78, of Wallington, formerly of Passaic, died Friday.
Before retiring in 1997, he was a custodian at Montclair State University, where he worked for 22 years.
Previously, he worked for Manhattan Rubber Co., Passaic.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Passaic.

She was a senior at Indian Hills High School.
