MARTIN J. SEGLIO, 76, of Weehawken, formerly of Union City, died Tuesday.
Before retiring 10 years ago, he was a teacher, coach, and athletic director at St. Joseph of the Palisades High School, West New York, where he worked for 31 years.
He was an Army Corps of Engineers veteran of World War II and a member of the 1255th Combat Engineers Battalion Association.
He was secretary and treasurer of the Hudson County Interscholastic Association, and a member of the Emerson Alumni Athletic Association.

She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis of Most Holy Name R.C. Church and the Golden Agers, both in Garfield.

Before retiring in 1988, he was a firefighter for the city of Clifton for 28 years.

He was a trustee for Passaic County Local 5 of the New Jersey State Retired Police and Fire Association, and was a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Firemen's Mutual Benevolent Association.
