Before retiring, he was an electrical technician.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He had been a machinist for Avon Products, Paramus.

He worked for Pathmark supermarkets, Clifton, and Garrett Mountain Stables, West Paterson.

MARTIN J. SEGLIO, 76, of Weehawken, formerly of Union City, died Tuesday.
Before retiring 10 years ago, he was a teacher, coach, and athletic director at St. Joseph of the Palisades High School, West New York, where he worked for 31 years.
He was an Army Corps of Engineers veteran of World War II and a member of the 1255th Combat Engineers Battalion Association.
He was secretary and treasurer of the Hudson County Interscholastic Association, and a member of the Emerson Alumni Athletic Association.

FRANCES CIRELLO TRENTACOSTA, 88, of Garfield died Tuesday.
Before retiring, she was an assembly worker for Thomas Electronics, Passaic.
Previously, she was a factory worker for Botany Mills, Passaic.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield.
She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis of Most Holy Name R.C. Church and the Golden Agers, both in Garfield.

HENRY VESPA JR., 68, of Clifton died Tuesday.
Before retiring in 1988, he was a firefighter for the city of Clifton for 28 years.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of American Legion Post 8, Clifton.
He was a parishioner of St. Andrew R.C. Church, Clifton.
He was a trustee for Passaic County Local 5 of the New Jersey State Retired Police and Fire Association, and was a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Firemen's Mutual Benevolent Association.

LENA ENGELMAN ZARNOWITZ, 81, of Union City died Tuesday.
She was born in Poland.

She was born in Italy.
Before retiring in 1966, she was a seamstress and coat finisher for 20 years.
She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.
