FRIEDA MAIER, 97, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, formerly of Edgewater, died Thursday.
Arrangements: Butler-Volland Funeral Home, Hastings, Neb.

TIMOTHY C. MARKANTES, 72, of Washington Township died Sunday.
Before retiring in 1995, he owned Westwood Banana Co., where he worked for 40 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Mother Seton Council of the Knights of Columbus, Washington Township.
Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

RAYMOND J. Mc SHERRY, 86, of Freehold Township, formerly of Bergenfield, died Saturday.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in the Army for 40 years, retiring as a colonel.
Arrangements: Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.

OLGA I. "GOGGI" LIBERG OLSEN, 82, of Ramsey, formerly of Bergenfield, died Monday.
Born in Norway, she was a professional theatrical dancer before coming to the United States.
Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

LEROY "ROY" PITTS, 67, of Paterson died Sunday.
He had been a construction laborer.
Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

MARY PERETTA PROSCIA, 91, of West New York, formerly of North Bergen, died Sunday.
She had been a volunteer at Palisades Medical Center, North Bergen.
Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

CHARLES RICHKO, 88, of Lincoln Park died Sunday.
Before retiring in 1974, he was an office manager for Charles Scribner & Sons Publishing Co., New York City, where he worked for 12 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 279, Lincoln Park.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lincoln Park, and a member of its choir.
Arrangements: Keri Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln Park.

DANIEL RUGGIERO, 72, of Dumont died Wednesday.
Before retiring in 1992, he was a captain with the Bergen County Sheriff's Department.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4290, New Milford.
Arrangements: Direct Cremations, Paterson.

PAUL SANDARS JR. of Ridgewood died Friday.
He was president of Titan Productions, New York City.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Apple Ridge Country Club, Mahwah, and the Presidents Country Club.

GIUSEPPE SANTACROCE, 74, of Lodi died Monday.
He was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1961.
He was a member of Laborers International Union of North America Local 472.

PHILIP J. SHEA, 71, of Dumont died Sunday.
Before retiring in 1988, he was an electrical technician for Curtiss-Wright Corp., Wood-Ridge.

RUTH DONNELLY VREELAND, 84, of Paterson died Sunday.
Before retiring in 1980, she was a bookkeeper for Standard Hardware, Paterson.
She was a life member of Union Avenue Baptist Church, Paterson, and a member of its Prayer and Work Group, and formerly was its financial secretary.
She was a former treasurer of the North Haledon Coin and Stamp Club and a member of the Del Debs Woman's Club.
She also was a member of the AARP and the Seniors of St. Paul R.C. Church, both in Haledon.
Arrangements: Moore's Home For Funerals, Wayne.

GENEVIEVE CUNNIFFE WILCOX, 98, of Hawthorne died Sunday.
Before retiring in 1968, she was a kindergarten teacher in Paterson.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne, and a member of its Rosary Altar Society.
Arrangements: Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

PHILIP J. ZICHELLA, 86, of Ocean Breeze Park, Fla., formerly of Garfield, died Saturday.
He was born in Italy.
Before retiring, he was self-employed in the carpet industry.
He was a member of the American Bowling Congress.
