VINCENT JIM OLMO, 89, of Palisades Park died Monday. Before retiring in 1974, he was a welder for Cendeletti Structural Steel, Ridgefield. Previously, he worked for Selbach-Meyer, West New York, for 25 years. He was a parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church, Palisades Park, where he also was an usher. CHARLES F. SIEVERS SR., 82, of Ridgefield Park died Monday. Before retiring in 1977, he worked for the Wood-Ridge Chemical Co., Wood-Ridge, for 40 years. He was a member and trustee of First Baptist Church, Ridgefield Park, where he also was a member of its Merry People's Club. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 6, the Special Police, and the Dr. Charles A. Knox Volunteer Ambulance Corps, all in Ridgefield Park. He also was a member and chief of the Ridgefield Park Fire Department, and was a member and former captain of Hook and Ladder Company 1 in Ridgefield Park. He was a volunteer in the hemodialysis unit of Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck. He was a member of the New Jersey State Firemen's Association, the New Jersey and New York Volunteer Firemen's Association, and the New Jersey State Exempt Firemen's Association. He was honored as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Man of the Year in Ridgefield Park. He was the grand marshal of the Fourth of July Parade in Ridgefield Park. Arrangements: Petrik Funeral Home, Bogota.
VIOLA H. SINNOTT, 75, of Clifton died Monday. Before retiring in 1987, she worked in the shipping department of the Pfizer Corp., Clifton, for 25 years. He was past president of the Volunteer Ambulance Corps, a member of the Auxiliary Police, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus, all in Rutherford. WILLIAM J. WALKER, 89, of Boonton, formerly of Fort Lee, died Monday. Before retiring in 1973, he was a custodian at Fort Lee High School, where he worked for 20 years. JOHN J. WIELGUS, 78, of Garfield, formerly of Passaic, died Monday. Before retiring in 1984, he worked for the U.S. Rubber Co., Passaic. An Army veteran of World War II, he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.
