JACK RUBENSTEIN, 81, of Teaneck died Tuesday. Before retiring 20 years ago, he was a self-employed mechanical engineer for 40 years. He was a past president of the camera club, Teaneck, and of the Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County. He was a 1940 graduate of the Stevens Institute of Technology. WILLIAM MILTON SANDERSON, 72, of Midland Park died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a custodian for the Midland Park schools. Previously, he was a milkman for Ideal Farms. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 157, Midland Park. He was a member of the Irving-Park Christian Reformed Church, Midland Park. WILLIAM JOSEPH STODDARD SR., 89, of the Crestwood Village section of Manchester Township, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Sunday. PAUL G. STRAUBEL, 93, of Lakewood, formerly of Teaneck, died Tuesday. He was born in Germany. Before retiring in 1972, he was a self-employed electrical contractor in Hudson County for 47 years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and of the Elks Lodge, both in Teaneck. NORMAN S. THOMPSON, 81, of the Whiting section of Manchester Township, formerly of Jersey City, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1976, he was department supervisor of merchandising for the Western Electric Co., Kearny, where he worked for 37 years. A former master of Masonic Lodge 146, Jersey City, he was district deputy grand master of the Sixth and 30th Masonic districts, and a former North Jersey coordinator of the Masonic enlightenment committee. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, Lincoln Park. He was a 33rd degree member and a potent master of the Northern New Jersey Consistory. Arrangements: Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.

FRANK C. VERNON, 87, of Hawthorne died Wednesday. Before retiring 32 years ago, he was a truck driver for Arrow Carrier, Carlstadt, where he worked for 35 years. He was assistant fire chief of Fire Company 4 and a member of Fire Company 2, both in Hawthorne. He also was a member of the Exempt Firemen's Association.
