BARBARA NOCAR BOWEN, 94, of Bergenfield died Friday. Before retiring, she was a bookkeeper for Prentice-Hall, Englewood Cliffs, and Universal Food Market, Hackensack. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bergenfield Fire Department, the Seniors, and Club 50. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.
CHARLES LYNN BURRHUS, 89, of Rutherford died Friday. Before retiring in 1970, he was a purchasing executive for Pan American World Airways, New York City, where he worked for 25 years. More recently, he worked for Teaneck Graphics. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and the Old Guard, both in Rutherford. Arrangements: Thomas J. Diffily Funeral Home, Rutherford.
RITA GUNTHER CAMPBELL, 79, of Teaneck died Friday. Before retiring 20 years ago, she was a saleswoman for the Kiddy Thrift Shop, Union City, where she worked for 10 years. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

DENISE MAIRE INGENITO, 76, of Lodi died Friday. She was born in France. Before retiring in 1976, she was a medical technician for South Bergen Hospital, Hasbrouck Heights, where she worked for 10 years. Previously, she was a beautician. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church and was a member of the Seniors, both in Lodi, and the AARP. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.
JOHN KAMP, 93, of Hackensack, formerly of North Bergen, died Saturday. He was born in Russia. Before retiring in 1984, he owned Community Wine and Liquors, Bergenfield, for 29 years. He was a member of Temple Beth El, Hackensack; the Lodge of the Palisades, and the Knights of Pythias. Arrangements: Wien and Wien Memorial Chapels, Englewood.
JOSEPH J. KARPOWICH, 74, of Mahwah died Saturday. Before retiring in 1974, he co-owned Karp's Radio Shop, Suffern, N.Y., for 28 years. More recently, he was a maintenance worker in the Glen Rock school system for 10 years. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Mahwah, where he served as a greeter. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7124, Mahwah. He was a charter member of Elks Lodge 1941 and a member of the Lions Club and the Model Plane Club, all in Mahwah. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.
JOHN P. KOPCHAK SR., 71, of Wallington, formerly of Garfield, died Friday. Before retiring in 1988, he was a die maker for Packaging Corporation of America, Garfield, where he worked for 35 years. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Passaic, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2640. He was a member of Slovak Catholic Sokol Assembly 1, Passaic, and a former member of the Wallington Bowling League. He also was a former member of Hose Company 2 of the Wallington Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Exempt Firemen's Association, and an honorary member of the Wallington Emergency Squad. WILLIAM G. ROCCO, 89, of Paterson died Friday. He had owned Rocco Press, Paterson. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Paterson, where he had founded the St. Mary Parish Pantry, was a member of the Holy Name Society, and had served as an usher. He was a former parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church, Paterson, where he had been a member of the St. Frances De Paolo Society. He was also a Notary Public. Arrangements: Rinaldi-De Luccia-Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Haledon.
ALBERT W. SCHIFFERDECKER, 78, of Wyckoff, formerly of Waldwick and Oakland, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1978, he worked for Barbizon Corp. for 38 years. More recently, he worked as a clerk for TRW, Fairfield, for 10 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Passaic Valley Elks Lodge 2111.
