CARL A. JOHNSON JR., 65, of Paramus died Sunday. Before retiring, he was a television broadcast engineer for Madison Square Garden, where he worked for 38 years. HANS C. JORGENSEN, 93, of Florida, formerly of Fairview, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1970, he was a general contractor involved in building public schools, churches, and other public buildings in northern New Jersey for 24 years. EDNA WIESNER KAMMERER, 92, of Fair Lawn, formerly of Haledon, died Saturday. Before retiring, she was an aid at the Haledon Public Library. HELEN LYONS LENORMAND, 85, of Hillsdale died Friday. Before retiring in 1977, she was an English teacher at Charles DeWolf School, Old Tappan, where she worked for 15 years. Previously, she taught at St. Anne's School, Fair Lawn. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale. She was a 1933 graduate of the College of Mount St. Vincent, Riverdale. CATHERINE LIDDY, 81, of Cookeville, Tenn., formerly of Hawthorne, died Saturday. She had been a secretary for Curtiss-Wright Aeronautical Corp., Wood-Ridge, where she worked for 38 years. Subsequently, she was a secretary for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson, where she worked for 10 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne, where she was a trustee, secretary for the Parish and Pastoral councils, and past president of the Rosary Society. She was past president of the Paterson-Hawthorne District for the Council of Catholic Women, a charter member and past president of the Hawthorne Twig Auxiliary of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, and a member of the Catholic Family and Community Services Auxiliary, all in Paterson.
