LOUIS J. KUBITZ, 81, of Garfield died Monday. Before retiring in 1981, he was a machinist for Eastern Gear Co., Paterson, where he worked for 10 years. Previously, he was a machinist for Curtiss-Wright Corp., Wood-Ridge, where he worked for 32 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Name R.C. FLORENCE T. KURPICK, 85, of Paterson died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1975, she was head nurse at North Jersey Training School, Totowa, where she worked for 25 years. She was an Army Nursing Corps veteran of World War II. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson, and a member of its Seniors and Fatima Society. She was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church Seniors and the Passaic County Irish American Cultural Society. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, West Paterson.
STEPHEN GEORGE KYAK, 83, of Lakewood, formerly of the Newfoundland section of West Milford, died Monday. Before retiring in 1976, he was an electrical engineer for Curtiss-Wright Aeronautics, Wood-Ridge, where he worked for 40 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion in Newfoundland. He was past commissioner of the Newfoundland Fire Department. Arrangements: D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood.
IGNA M. VALANCIA LEGGETT, 62, of Dumont, formerly of Hackensack, died Sunday. She was born in Colombia. She was a nurse for Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, and, previously, for Englewood Hospital, where she worked for 10 years. She was a member of the American Society of Notaries.
