STEPHEN M. MESSERIAN, 71, of Wayne, formerly of Oakland, died Tuesday. He owned Hye's Liquor Store, Oakland.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 369, Oakland.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 2161 and the Lions Club, both in Oakland, and St. Leon Armenian Church, Fair Lawn.
Arrangements: Oakland Memorial Home, Oakland.

K. CONSUELO McCARTHY MURTAGH, 66, of Red Bank, formerly of Park Ridge, died Tuesday.
She was a registered nurse.
She also worked for the John Murtagh Association Inc., Bayonne, for 40 years.
She was a member of the Bayonne Hospital Alumni Association.
Arrangements: John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.

ELLAMAE NEW, 64, of Howell Township, formerly of Dumont, died Monday.
Before retiring in 1992, she was a dietary aide for Point Pleasant Hospital, Point Pleasant, where she worked for 15 years.

SVEA M. OLSSON, 103, of Hawthorne died Wednesday.
She was a self-employed seamstress.
She was a member of Christian Science Church, Ridgewood, and the Order of the Eastern Star in Wyckoff.

LOUISE PITTELLI, 92, of Emerson died Wednesday.
She was a parishioner of Assumption R.C. Church, Emerson, and a member of its Rosary Altar Society.
She was a member of the Seniors, Emerson.

LILLIAN RAFTERY, 78, of Edgewater died Tuesday.
Before retiring in 1987, she worked for Mailbag, Edgewater.

FLORENCE KESTER SCOFIELD, 91, of Rochelle Park died Wednesday.
Before retiring, she was a salesclerk for Scofield Pharmacy, Cresskill.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Fair Lawn, and the Rochelle Park Seniors.

ROBERT STELLING, 64, of Bloomingdale died Monday.
He had been chaplain for the Salvation Army of Bloomingdale.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of Christ Chapel, Kinnelon.
He was a chaplain for the New Jersey Firemen's Home, Boonton; Kinney Hose Company, Butler; the Antique Fire Association of New Jersey; the North Jersey Volunteer Fireman's Association, and Passaic County Fire Association.

HELEN L. DeFRANCESCO STRUB, 93, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Monday.
