NENA GALANG NEPOMUCENO, 67, of South Hackensack, formerly of Teaneck and Paramus, died Wednesday. Born in the Philippines, she came to the United States in 1975. Arrangements: Trinka Faustini Funeral Home, Little Ferry.

W. LEONARD "LEN" NIX, 74, of Hackensack, formerly of Boonton, died Thursday. Before retiring, he worked for the Department of Public Works, Hackensack. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 55, Hackensack. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack, and a member of its Usher Society. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 747, Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

EDWARD M. PIELA SR., 79, of Wallington, formerly of Garfield, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1986, he owned Piela Provisions Inc., Wallington, for 40 years. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2640, Wallington. He was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church and a member of the Association of the Sons of Poland and the Hillside Social Athletic Club, all in Wallington. Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington.

JULIA F. WARD REES, 91, of Park Ridge, formerly of Teaneck, died Saturday. She was a member Order of the Eastern Star, Teaneck, and the Park Ridge Seniors. Arrangements: Frech Funeral Home, Dumont.

LOUIS B. ROBBINS, 86, of Fort Lee died Thursday. He was born in Ukraine. Before retiring, he was a music librarian for the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, New York City. Previously, he owned Music Copying Service Inc., New York City, and was a musicologist for the Columbia Broadcasting System. He was a member of the Jewish Community Center of Bergen County and the American Federation of Musicians. Arrangements: Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, Trenton.

MELVIN JACK ROMAN, 54, of New Milford died Wednesday. He was a baker and cake decorator for Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Englewood. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Club, and he was the East Coast coordinator of AMSAT. Arrangements: Wein & Wein, Englewood.

MAX ROSENBERG, 77, of Parsippany, formerly of Passaic, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1980, he was a mechanical engineer for Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, where he worked for 34 years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

FRANCES MILLER SCHRAYER, 79, of Fair Lawn died Wednesday. Before retiring, she was a bookkeeper for Surgeon Association, Lakewood. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

NATHAN SCHWARTZ, 85, of Englewood, formerly of Bayonne, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1983, he owned Bruce's Wine & Liquors, Newark, where he worked for 20 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Jewish War Veterans of Hudson County. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

RICHARD W. STEIER, 90, of Palisades Park died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1985, he owned Steier's Hardware Store, Union City. He was a member of the AARP and the Seniors, both in Palisades Park. Arrangements: Volk Leber Funeral Home, Palisades Park.

ANNETTE M. DiBELLO TINACCI, 69, of Ramsey died Wednesday. She was a parishioner of St. Paul R. C. Church, Ramsey. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

ANNA CURMA TUDOR, 77, of Toms River, formerly of Clifton and Wallington, died Tuesday. She was a former member the Columbiettes, Clifton. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

JESSAMINE E. CONOVER VAN KAMPEN, 90, of Wyckoff died Monday. Before retiring, she worked for the Wyckoff school system for 34 years. She was a member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church, and the Seniors, both in Wyckoff; a volunteer at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, and the American Red Cross. She was a member of the Audubon Society of New Jersey, and the Fyke Nature Society of New Jersey. She was a graduate of Montclair State Teaching College. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

REGINA BUCKO VITAGLIANO, 83, of East Rutherford died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1978, she was a clerk at Carlton Cleaners, Wallington. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R. C. Church, Wallington. Arrangements: Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.

MARION E. WELLINGHORST of Waldwick, formerly of Ho-Ho-Kus, died Wednesday. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Cliffside Park. Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

ROBERT A. WOODHEAD, 67, of Wayne died Wednesday. He was a chemical engineer for the U.S. Department of Defense in Springfield, and, previously, for Mobil Chemical Co., Paramus. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley R. C. Church, and a member of the Elks Lodge 2181, both in Wayne. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

FRED ZWERVER, 88, of Paterson died Thursday. Before retiring, he was an insurance and real estate agent for the Williams Co., Paterson. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 203, Clifton, and a former member of Third Presbyterian Church, Paterson. He was a 1936 graduate of Penn State University. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.
