INGLIS ARCHER, 84, of Midland Park died Saturday. Before retiring, he worked in inventory control at Crompton Knowles Corp., Reading, Pa. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 130, Midland Park. He was a member of the Church of the Nativity, Midland Park. Arrangements: Olthuis Funeral Home, Midland Park.

PHILIP J. BENDER JR., 82, of Kinnelon died Saturday. Before retiring, he worked for Western ElectricCo., Kearny. He was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Jersey City. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Western Electric Kearny Club. Arrangements: Fallon Funeral Home, Jersey City.

ARTHUR BREHAUT, 65, of Ringwood, formerly of New Milford, died Sunday. He owned Interstate Glass Service, Fair Lawn, for 19 years. He was an Army veteran. Arrangements: Frech Funeral Home, Dumont.

ALBERT BROWNSTEIN, 91, of Hackensack, formerly of Teaneck, died Saturday. Before retiring, he was an executive for the U.S. Post Office, New York City, where he worked for 30 years. He was a member Congregation Beth Am, Teaneck. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

GRACE E. COLE, 83, of Monroe, N.Y., formerly of Leonia, died Saturday. Arrangements: Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush Funeral Home, Monroe.

FRANCIS B. DAHLINGER, 86, of Rochelle Park died Saturday. Before retiring, he was Director of Transportation and Safety for Manhattan Rubber, Passaic. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Rochelle Park. He was a former member and president of the Board of Education, Rochelle Park. He was founder of the Rochelle Park Home Owners League. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

FRANCES MARONE De MALA, 92, of Hackensack died Saturday. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack, where she was a member of the Rosary Society. She was a former member of the Columbiettes of Trinity Council 747 and the Woman's Club, both in Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

MABLE G. DeWITT of Hackensack died Saturday. She had been an administrative worker for Bergen County. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

DOROTHY M. FRANCO of Denville died Saturday. Arrangements: Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph Township.

JOSEPH R. GARDEN, 61, of Carlstadt died Friday. Before retiring in 1992, he was a meter reader for the Bergen County Utilities Authority, Little Ferry. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, East Rutherford, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an assistant scoutmaster of Carlstadt Troop 1. Arrangements: Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.

DOLORES E. BINDER HAMER, 68, of Clifton died Saturday. Before retiring in 1992, she was a clerk for Fisher-Stevens Inc., Totowa, where she worked for 15 years. She was a parishioner of St. John Kanty R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

MARGARET RANSON HAMILTON, 97, of Kearny died Saturday. Born in England, she came to the United States in 1926. Before retiring, she was an office manager for the American Insurance Co., Newark. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Kearny. Arrangements: Condon Funeral Home, Kearny.

HAROLD H. HELMS, 86, of Wayne, formerly of Clifton, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1978, he was office manager of Schnoll Foods, Newark, where he worked for 10 years. Previously, he was office manager for Englehorn Packing Co., Newark, where he worked for 25 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 067, Passaic, and New Jersey District 4, Clifton. Arrangements: The Par-Troy Funeral Home, Parsippany.

MICHAEL JOHN HORVATH, 48, of Delaran, formerly of Garfield, died Friday. He was a printer for Deluxe Check Printing, Moorestown. Arrangements: Chadwick Memorial Home, Riverside.

EMILY B. JONES, of Hackensack died Thursday. Before retiring, she was a nurse's aide for Barnert Hospital, Paterson. She was a member of Varick Memorial AME Zion Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

TEODOZIA MELNICK KOLEBA, 80, of Wayne, formerly of Ridgewood, died Sunday. She was born in the Ukraine. Before retiring in 1978, she was a cleaner for O.M.C., New York City. Arrangements: Oakland Memorial Home, Oakland.
