He also had taught at the Eastman Gains Business School, New York City.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the medical corps.
He was a 1934 graduate of the New York University School of Commerce and received a master's degree from Montclair State University.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Paterson, and was a member of the National and New Jersey Education associations and the Paterson Educators Association.
