He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park, where he was a lector, CYO adviser, and member of the Parents Organization. He was past Deputy Grand Knight of Alberque Council 2229, Knights of Columbus. He was chairman of the Board of Adjustment, chairman of Cub Scout and Boy Scout Troop 1, a coach for the Saturday Recreation program and the Little League, and a member of United Citizens, PTA, Special Education Association, and Band Parents, all in Ridgefield Park.
