LEO KUSHNER of Fort Lee died Monday. He was born in Poland. Before retiring 10 years ago, he owned Kushner Painting, Union City. He was a member of the Fort Lee Jewish Center. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

WILLIAM J. LYNCH, 69, of Ridgewood died Saturday. Before retiring, he worked for Lakehurst Naval Air Base, Lakehurst. Previously, he worked for Ford Motor Co., Mahwah, and Orange and Rockland Utilities and The Prudential Insurance Company of America, both in Ramsey. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a retired member of the Ramsey Special Police Force, and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Ramsey. Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

ROSEMARY MAHER, 66, of Teaneck died Tuesday. She was a salesclerk for Eckerd Drugs, Teaneck, where she worked for 13 years. She was also a sales agent for the New Jersey Lottery, East Rutherford. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R. C. Church, Bogota, where she was a member of its Third Order of Mount Carmel and a former member of its Altar and Scapular Society. She was a former Teaneck Republican Party municipal chairwoman. She was a commissioner for the Bergen County Commission on the Status of Women. Arrangements: Petrik Funeral Home, Bogota.

GENEVA "JEAN" OGONOWSKI MAHONCHAK, 84, of Garfield died Monday. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary R. C. Church, Passaic. Arrangements: Wozniak Home For Funerals, Wallington.

DOROTHY CHAUDRON MANN, 76, of West Milford died Tuesday. She was born in Belgium. Before retiring in 1984, she was a supervisor for Mohawk Electric, Doylestown, Pa. She was a member of the Hillcrest Seniors, West Milford. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.

JOHN F. McCARTHY, 80, of Kinnelon died Sunday. Before retiring in 1985, he was the financial director at Bergen Pines County Hospital, Paramus. He served in the U.S. merchant marine during World War II. He was a past vice president of the New Jersey Junior Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the men's corps of Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, and a volunteer for the AARP/IRS Tax Program. He was a graduate of Rutgers University. Arrangements: Direct Cremations, Paterson.

ELVIRA VILLANO MEOLA, 90, of Paterson died Sunday. Before retiring, she worked in the textile and garment industry in Paterson. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church, Paterson, and also belonged to its Leisure Club. She was a member and past president of Cilontani Society, Paterson. ARTHUR "ALDO" P. MOLIN, 88, of Bergenfield died Monday. Before retiring in 1973, he was a mail carrier for the Postal Service, Brooklyn. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

WILLIAM "SAL" NINIVAGGI, 73, of North Bergen died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1983, he was a detective for the North Bergen Police Department, where he worked for 33 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2342, Fort Lee, and American Legion Post 0033, North Bergen. He was a member of the New Jersey State Police Benevolent Association Local 18, the New Jersey State Police Honor Legion, and the New Jersey Retired Police & Firemen's Association. ALICE NICHOLAS RUSSO NOCHTA, 75, of Saddle Brook died Tuesday. Before retiring, she was a matron for Form Flex Co., Saddle Brook. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Saddle Brook. She was a member of the Seniors, Saddle Brook. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

THOMAS J. OWENS, 81, of Glen Rock, formerly of Ridgewood, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1973, he was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Ridgewood. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a member of the Seniorsof both Midland Park and of Glen Rock, the Midland Park Activities Club, Wyckoff XYZ Club, and the National Association of Letter Carriers. THERESA COSTOLA PALAZZO, 87, of Clifton died Monday. Born in Italy, she came to the United States in 1927. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Marrocco Memorial Chapel, Clifton.

FRANK N. PAOLANTONIO JR., 69, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Bergenfield, died Sunday. Before retiring, he was the golf superintendent at Cedar Hill Country Club, Livingston. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Elks Club in Bergenfield and the Golf Course Superintendents Association. Arrangements: Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota, Fla.

SUSAN T. PATERSON, 79, of Clifton died Jan 12. She was born in Scotland. Before retiring, she was an executive secretary for American Cyanamid, Wayne. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

WILLIAM F. PETRIE, 83, of Cliffside Park died Monday. Before retiring, he was a self-employed printer. Arrangements: A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

THEODORE L. ROBAK, 87, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Wayne, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1968, he was a cost accountant for the American Automobile Association, Paterson, where he worked for 10 years. Previously, he was a cartoonist for the Trends and Post Eagle Newspaper, Clifton. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

RAYMOND A. ROMANICK SR. of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Hawthorne, died Monday. He was a purchasing agent for Curtiss-Wright Aeronautics, Wood-Ridge. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.He also served in the National Guard. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

MARY KOLLAR SCANGORELLA, 77, of East Rutherford, died Tuesday. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, East Rutherford. She was a member of the Wallington Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 2640, the Seniors, East Rutherford, and the AARP. Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington.

ANNETTE C. DUVAL SPRATLY, 79, of Teaneck died Sunday. She was born in France. Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

ELEANOR F. VAN POPPEL, 73, of Fair Lawn died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1991, she was an executive secretary for Manufacturers Trust, New York City, where she worked for 40 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn, where she volunteered for vestment sewing and other activities. She was a volunteer at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, and a former chairman of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary, Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

LAWRENCE VITALE, 86, of Paterson died Tuesday. Before retiring, he worked for the Shade Tree Department, Paterson, for 28 years. Previously, he was an airplane mechanic for Curtiss-Wright Aeronautics, Wood-Ridge. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of Riverside Veterans, Paterson. OTTO WEBER, 88, of Paramus and Greenwood Lake, N.Y., formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Monday. Born in Switzerland, he came to the United States in 1924. Before retiring, he owned United Thread & Scallop Cutting Co., West New York. He was a member of the Swiss Society of Union City. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

JOSEPH ZUCKERBERG, 92, of New York City, formerly of Cliffside Park, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1968, he was a waiter at the Hotel Commodore, New York City. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Hungarian Literary Society. Arrangements: Wien and Wien, Englewood.
