Previously, he worked for Ford Motor Co., Mahwah, and Orange and Rockland Utilities and The Prudential Insurance Company of America, both in Ramsey. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R. C. Church, Bogota, where she was a member of its Third Order of Mount Carmel and a former member of its Altar and Scapular Society. He was a member of the men's corps of Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, and a volunteer for the AARP/IRS Tax Program. He was a graduate of Rutgers University.
