VINCENT P. AMICOSANTE, 69, of Ridgefield died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1992, he was deputy chief of the Ridgefield Police Department, where he worked for 32 years. He was past president of the Policemen's Benevolent Association, the Honor Society, and Unico, all in Ridgefield. He was a member of the Cliffside Park Men's Club. FREDERICK C. BERGER, 53, of Mahwah died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1997, he was a health-care manager for Aetna in New York City. Previously, he was vice president of US Healthcare in Philadelphia. He was a member of St. John Episcopal Church, Ramsey. He was a 1967 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology. THOMAS F. BUTLER, 71, of Ringwood, formerly of Clifton, died Thursday. He was chairman of the department of business administration at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutherford and Teaneck. Previously, he was a business administration and statistics instructor at Pace University in White Plains, N.Y. He also had worked for Squibb, New York City, and Merck Sharp & Dohme, Wayne. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Ringwood. He was past president of the New Jersey Organization for Mentally Ill Children and a member of the Clifton-Passaic YMCA. A graduate of St. Francis College, New York City, he received a doctorate from Pace University. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.
GERALDINE SCOTT CASSIDY, 81, of New Milford died Wednesday. She was a member of the New Milford Seniors. She was past president and treasurer of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4290 Auxiliary and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Milford Volunteer Fire Department. ALBERT P. DALY, 69, of Closter died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1998, he was a custodian in the Closter school district, working at Village and Tenakill schools. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8003, Closter. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Closter.
