STEPHEN McTEAGUE, 73, of Rutherford died Friday. Before retiring, he was a salesman for Gilman Paper, New York City. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Rutherford. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.

EMMA LASZIG MOKRAY, 100, of Wallington died Saturday. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Passaic, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a Red Cross volunteer during World War II. She was a past matron of Golden Rod Chapter 264 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Passaic, and a member of Stella Chapter 20 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Garfield. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

ANGELINA PAGNILLO PAGANO, 92, of Emerson, formerly of Paramus, died Friday. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

WILLIAM POWERS, 72, of Manahawkin, formerly of Paterson, died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a forklift operator for Accurate Box, Paterson. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Scillieri Funeral Home, Paterson.

THOMAS A. REASE, 78, of Hasbrouck Heights died Friday. Before retiring, he worked for ABF Freight Co., New York City. He served in the merchant marine during World War II. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 560, Union City. Arrangements: Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

FLORENCE E. RENO, 87, of Shamokin, Pa., formerly of Clifton, died Thursday. She was a member of St. Peter Episcopal Church, Clifton, where was a member of the St. Margaret's Guild. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

ROBERT H. SANDILANDS, 81, of Totowa died Saturday. Before retiring, he was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Paterson, where he worked for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church and was a member of the Senior Citizens and Passaic Valley Elks Lodge 2111, all in Totowa. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Home, Totowa.

DOROTHY A. SCHILLER, 83, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Teaneck, died Friday. Before retiring, she was a secretary for Bergen County. Arrangements: Woodlawn Funeral Home, Orlando.

JULIA CONLIN SCHMEDES, 85, of Paramus, formerly of Waldwick, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1980, she was a violations and court clerk for the Village of Ridgewood, where she worked for 20 years. She was a parishioner of St. Luke R.C. Church, Ho-Ho-Kus, where she was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society and the choir. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

HENRY O. SCHNEIDER, 74, of Maywood died Thursday. Before retiring in 1985, he was an import and export manager for the American Can Co., Greenwich, Conn., where he worked for 42 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a former coach for the Maywood Boy's Club. He was a former member of the Maywood Pool Commission and a former trustee of the First Presbyterian Church, Maywood. Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Maywood.

GEORGE A. SCHOPPERTH, 83, of Haledon died Friday. Before retiring, he was a machinist for Singer-Kearfott, Little Falls, where he worked for 30 years. Arrangements: DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, Haledon.

JOHN SCHRECK, 71, of Closter died Friday. Before retiring in 1992, he was a custodian at the Hillside School, Closter, where he worked for 26 years. Arrangements: Moritz Funeral Home, Closter.

RUTH SACHAROV SCHREIBER, 84, of Passaic died Thursday. Before retiring four years ago, she was an interior decorator for the Specialty Curtain Shop, Hackensack, where she worked for 50 years. She was a member of Congregation B'nai Jacob and its Sisterhood, Congregation Tifereth Israel and its Sisterhood, and Hadassah, all in Passaic. She was a member of the Foresters of America in New York City, the Order of the Golden Chain in Jersey City, the Passaic/Clifton Young Men's and Young Women's Hebrew Association, and the AARP. Arrangements: Jewish Memorial Chapel, Passaic.

ANTOINETTE F. "TONI" SANSEVERE SCHULTZ, 81, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, died Friday. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights, and a member of the Hasbrouck Heights Pioneer Club. Arrangements: Kohler Funeral Home, Wood-Ridge.

VIOLET STEVENS, 83, of Wallington died Friday. Before retiring, she was a factory worker for Shulton Inc., Clifton. Arrangements: Thomas J. Diffily Funeral Home, Rutherford.

JANET R. EHRENKRANZ STODDARD, 58, of Bloomingdale died Friday. She was a dance therapist for 15 years, specializing in handicapped and Alzheimer's-afflicted seniors. She was a graduate of Montclair State University and received a master's degree in dance from New York University. She was a member of the Alzheimer's Disease Association of North Jersey. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

MICHAEL SAHAYDAK SYDOCK, 82, of Little Falls died Friday. Before retiring in 1980, he was a certified life underwriter for the Prudential Life Insurance Co., Clifton, where he worked for 30 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Clifton. He was a former member of the Clifton Lions Club and a 1982 inductee into the Passaic County Bowling Association's Hall of Fame for outstanding bowling achievement. Arrangements: Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls.

PAUL TUREK of Ridgefield died Thursday. He had been a plumber for the Montclair Board of Education. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Seniors, Ridgefield. Arrangements: Blackley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Ridgefield.

PETER VAN OSTEN, 73, of Wyckoff, formerly of Midland Park, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1988, he was a draftsman. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Ridgewood, where he served as trustee, elder, deacon, and a member of its mission board. He was a member of Wyckoff Masonic Lodge 287, where he served on its Interreligious Fellowship for the Homeless, Wyckoff Partners in Pride, and volunteered at the Zabriskie House. He was also member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7086, Midland Park and Wyckoff, and of the Wyckoff Seniors. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

LORI R. WEINER of Winchester, Mass., formerly of Teaneck, died Saturday. She was a director/consultant and senior technical analyst at Mc Kesson HBO in Massachusetts. Previously, she was director of radiation and oncology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and at Elliot Hospital, both in Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Simmons College, Boston, and received her graduate degree from Harvard University. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

GEORGE T. K. WELLER, 43, of Hackensack, formerly of Upper Montclair and Oradell, died Friday. He was born in Japan. He was a home health aide with Affiliated Health Services, Morristown, and the ARC of Morris County. Previously, he worked for Shanghai Red's in Weehawken and was a bartender for One If By Land, Two If By Sea Restaurant in New York City. He was a volunteer for the New Jersey Chapter of the NAMES Project. Arrangements: Madison Memorial Home.

WILLIAM WARREN WINKEL JR., 71, of Berkeley Township, formerly of Dumont and Old Tappan, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1988, he worked for Goldman Sachs, New York City, and had been in the stock market for 40 years. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. Arrangements: DeGraff Cremation Services, Lakehurst.

REANN P. BLUM WOOD, 49, of Hewitt, formerly of Maywood, died Thursday. She was an assistant to the business administrator for the Dumont Board of Education, where she worked for 10 years. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, Maywood. Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Maywood.
