MILTON KAPLAN, 77, of Fort Lee died Saturday. Before retiring 10 years ago, he was a clerk at Stern's department store, New York City. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Wien & Wien, Englewood.

PAULA KRONISH, 98, of North Bergen died Friday. She was born in England. She was a member of Congregation Shaare Zedek, West New York. Arrangements: Wien and Wien, Englewood.

NICHOLAS KRUEGER, 78, of Wood-Ridge died Sunday. Before retiring, he was a selector for the Grand Union Co., Carlstadt. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Thomas J. Diffily Funeral Home, Rutherford.

JOHN LATCHFORD, 72, of Paramus, formerly of Jersey City, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1984, he worked in marketing and sales for the AT&T Longlines Division for 35 years. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Annunciation R.C. Church, Paramus. He was a member of the Paramus Golf Commission and a past Grand Knight of the Paramus Knights of Columbus 5680, where he was an honorary life member as a Third and Fourth Degree Knight. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

BETTY GRAY LAWSON of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Teaneck, died December 27. Before retiring, she worked for Merck Sharp & Dohme, Rahway. She was a member of the Prophetic Church of God, Paterson, where she was an usher and a member of the Board of Christian Education. She was a past president of the National Church of God Ushers. Arrangements: Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Home, Columbus.

ALEXANDER P. LISZEWSKI, 79, of Fort Lee died Friday. Before retiring in 1982, he worked for 42 years for the U.S. Postal Service, New York City. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Madonna R.C. Church, Fort Lee. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Directors, Fort Lee.

ERNEST MAGNUSSEN, 84, of Fort Lee died Sunday. He was born in Norway. Before retiring in 1979, he worked for Torsen Welding, Suffern, N.Y., for 30 years. He was a parishioner of Madonna R.C. Church, Fort Lee. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikaterian Funeral Directors, Fort Lee.

JOYCE H. NORTHROP, 69, of Dallas, Pa., formerly of Franklin Lakes, died Jan. 16. She had been a teacher in the New Milford public school system and a substitute teacher in the Franklin Lakes public school system. She was a graduate of Wilkes Barre (Pa.) College. She was a member of the Shavertown United Methodist Church. She was former president and board member of the Friends of the Franklin Lakes Library and was past president of the Women's Club of Franklin Lakes. Arrangements: The Snowdon Family Funeral Directors, Kingston, Pa.

LOUISE OLLWERTHER, 92, of Secaucus died Sunday. Before retiring, she was a schoolteacher for the Clarendon School, Secaucus, where she worked for 20 years. She was a member of Ladies Aid Society of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Secaucus. Arrangements: Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.

CAHTLEEN A. DALEY OUELLETTE, 47, of Rochelle Park died Sunday. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, where she was a CCD teacher. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 170, Rochelle Park. She was a former member of Rochelle Park Board of Education. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

HARRY PETERS, 81, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Friday. Before retiring, he was an elevator constructor for 36 years . He was an Army veteran . Arrangements: Curlew Hills Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Palm Harbor, Fla.

AIVOR MOSTROM PFISTER, 82, of Clifton died Friday. Before retiring in 1981, she was a coating operator for Dumont Corp., Clifton, where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

NELSON C. POLICASTRO, 96, of Sea Girt, formerly of Hackensack, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1977, he was a neuro-psychiatrist in Hackensack for 42 years. He had been a consultant neuro-psychiatrist for the Hospital and Home for Crippled Children of Newark and for Hackensack Hospital. He was an associate physician at St. Barnabas, St. James, and St. Michael hospitals, all in Newark, and was the author of many medical books. He was an Army Medical Corps veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, Pa., and received a medical degree from Royal University, Rome, Italy. He was a member of the American Psychiatric Association, a secretary and charter member of the New Jersey Psychiatrists Association, chairman of the Mental Hygiene Committee of Bergen County, and a charter member of the American Psychiatric Society. Arrangements: LaMonica Memorial Home, Bloomfield.

ADA WYNBEEK PRUIKSMA, 77, of Hawthorne died Friday. She was a member of Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church and a former volunteer for the hot-lunch program of the Eastern Christian School Association. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

PETER D. REDYKE, 79, of Toms River, formerly of Fair Lawn and Wyckoff, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1985, he owned seven Budget Rent-a-Car agencies in northern New Jersey, for 16 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the fellowship at Valley Bible Chapel, Washington Township, and attended Bethany Bible Chapel, Silverton. Arrangements: Kedz Funeral Home, Toms River.
