ELIZABETH RUTH ABOLIN SCHMIDT of Wayne, formerly of Fair Lawn, died April 25. Before retiring in 1987, she was secretary to the superintendent of recreation for Fair Lawn, where she worked for 26 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn, St. Joseph R.C. Church, West Milford, and Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne. She was a treasurer of the Blood Bank and a member of the Seniors, both in Fair Lawn. GEORGE H. STICKNEY JR., 82, of Ramsey died Saturday. He established an industrial real estate company in Paterson in 1950. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 1940. He was a member of the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA, and the Community Chest, all in Paterson. He was a member of the Hamilton Club and a past president of the Senior Council. He was a member of the Society of Industrial Realtors, past district vice president and past director of its National Association, and past president of its New Jersey chapter. He was a member of the New York Metropolitan Area Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.
PAUL VAN DYK, 82, of Elmwood Park, formerly of Wallington, died Friday. Before retiring in 1974, he was a hose division foreman for Uniroyal Rubber Co., Passaic, where he worked for 38 years. A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2640, Wallington, the Disabled American Veterans, Clifton, and the First Marine Division Association.
