ADOLF MEISENBACH, 65, of Dumont died Sunday. Born in Germany, he came to the United States in 1955. Before retiring in 1994, he was the owner and manager of Adolf Meisenbach Tile Co., Dumont, where he worked for 40 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. WILLIAM HAROLD SHENTON, 84, of Rock Hill, N.C., formerly of Paterson, died Monday. He was born in England. Before retiring in 1978, he was a master electrician for the Singer-Kearfott Corp., West Paterson, where he worked for 20 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He was a former member of St. Luke Episcopal Church, Paterson, where he was a vestryman. He was a former member of Masonic Lodge 203 and Paterson Valley Forest Tall Cedars of Lebanon Lodge 33, both in Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

JOSEPH P. TASSONI SR., 75, of Wayne died Monday. Before retiring in 1993, he was dean of students and director of admissions for the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, where previously he was an associate professor of anatomy. He had been an assistant professor of anatomy at New York Medical College and Seton College of Medicine and Dentistry. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a faculty member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and professor emeritus of the New Jersey Medical School. He was past president of the Wayne Board of Education. He was an author and co-author of many research articles on muscular dystrophy and taught Italian cooking at the Wayne Adult School. A 1947 graduate of the University of Utah, he received his doctorate in zoology from New York University. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

ADOLPH D. VAN BLARCOM, 83, of Preston Park, Pa., formerly of Midland Park, died Monday. Before retiring in 1985, he was a transportation supervisor for the Wyckoff Board of Education, where he worked for 28 years. He was a member, past president, and deputy chief of Volunteer Fire Department Company 2 and a member of the Fire Police and the Relief and Exempt associations, all in Wyckoff. He also was a member of the New Jersey and New York Fireman's Association and the North Jersey Fireman's Association. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

Church, East Rutherford. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 69, the Carlstadt Seniors, and the Becton Dickinson Alumni Association, East Rutherford.
