ALEXANDER DOBSA CRONIN, 78, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Clifton, died Friday. Born in Hungary, he came to the United States in 1950. Before retiring in 1980, he owned Marchese and Hamersma Stained Glass, Clifton. Previously, he worked for Hiemer Stained Glass, Clifton. He also taught stained glass art. FLOYD J. DEMPSEY, 50, of Saddle Brook died Friday. He was a detective lieutenant for the Bergen County Sheriff's Department in Hackensack, where he worked for 28 years. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Saddle Brook. He also was lead singer for the The Rough Mix, a band. MARGARET H. FINKENSIEPER, 87, of Denville, formerly of Westwood and Glen Ridge, died Friday. Before retiring in 1978, she was principal of Dorchester School, Woodcliff Lake. Previously, she was an elementary school teacher in the borough. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Stanhope. She was a member of the National Education Association, the New Jersey Education Association, and the Retired Principals Association. She was a graduate of Rutgers University.
