MARIE M. BERRY BOUFFARD, 90, of Allendale died Sunday. Arrangements: Frech Funeral Home, Dumont.
FREDERICK J. BYRNES, 83, of Ridgewood died Monday. Before retiring in 1974, he was assistant superintendent for the Ridgewood schools, where he worked 25 years. He also was secretary of the Ridgewood Board of Education. Previously, he worked in the school systems of Montclair and Nyack, N.Y. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club and treasurer of the board of directors of Ridgewood Senior Citizens Housing. He was a 1934 graduate of Albany State Teachers College (now New York University, Albany). He received a master's degree in business administration from Columbia University, where he received a doctor of education degree in 1956. Arrangements: Mortuary Services of New Jersey, Orange.
JEAN CHALEMIAN, 88, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Hackensack, died Sunday. He was born in Armenia. President of J C Builders, Hackensack, he was named Builder of the Year by the New Jersey Builders Association in 1963. He was a French Air Force veteran of World War II. LORRAINE C. REICHERT CHAMBERLIN, 75, of Bergenfield died Wednesday. She was a member of St. Luke Episcopal Church, Haworth, and a former superintendent of its Sunday school. Previously, she was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Bergenfield, and superintendent of its Sunday school. She was an officer of the Contemporary Women's Club and a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 180, both in Bergenfield. She was a 9th District vice president of the State Federation of Women's Clubs. ELSIE MASTRODONATO CIMINELLO, 78, of Clifton died Sunday. Born in Italy, she came to the United States in 1931. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Clifton. She was a member of the Seniors, West Paterson, and the Cordial Women's Club. Arrangements: Marrocco Memorial Chapel, Clifton.
ALEXANDER DOBSA CRONIN, 78, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Clifton, died Friday. Born in Hungary, he came to the United States in 1950. Before retiring in 1980, he owned Marchese and Hamersma Stained Glass, Clifton. Previously, he worked at Hiemer Stained Glass, Clifton. He also taught stained-glass art privately. ANNE G. DECKER, 91, of the Holiday City Berkeley section of Berkeley Township, formerly of Wood-Ridge, died Sunday. Before retiring, she was a teacher at Edison High School, Elizabeth, where she worked for 25 years. Subsequently, she taught painting at the Holiday City Berkeley Senior Center. She was a graduate of New York University and of Parsons School of Design. She received a master's degree from Rutgers University. Arrangements: Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River.

CHESTER H. DuBOIS, 66, of Cliffside Park died Saturday. Before retiring, he was an educator for the Wayne public schools, where he worked for 20 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of Epiphany R.C. Church, Cliffside Park. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Cliffside Park. Church, Paterson, where she was a member of its Seniors. She was also a member of St. Paul's Seniors, Prospect Park, and of the Frainese Women's Auxiliary, Paterson. HERMAN FINKE, 76, of Little Ferry, formerly of Moonachie, died Monday. Before retiring in 1986, he was the superintendent of maintenance for South Bergen Hospital, Hasbrouck Heights. Previously, he was a mason for Rennus Construction Co., Ridgefield. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and of the Joy Makers Club, both in Moonachie. He was also a member of the New Jersey chapter of the National Association 94 Infantry Division. Arrangements: Kohler Funeral Home, Wood-Ridge.
