She had been a bookkeeper for Savon Candy Co.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and its Jubilee and Aid Association.

NORMAN A. BRAUN, 91, of Wyckoff, formerly of Midland Park, died Thursday.
He had been a self-employed dry-cleaning-machine mechanic for many years.
Previously, he was a supervisor at Curtiss-Wright Corp., Wood-Ridge.
He was a member of the Community Church, Glen Rock; Masonic Lodge 287, Wyckoff; and Salaam Temple, Livingston.

MARIA MERSLICH BUCICH, 91, of Fairview died Friday.
She was born in Italy.

EVELYN R. CUNNINGHAM, 85, of Bogart, Ga., formerly of Teaneck, died Friday.

ELAINE A. BLACK FARESE, 68, of Waldwick died Saturday.
She had been a nursing supervisor at the Daughters of Miriam Nursing Home, Clifton.
She was a 1951 graduate of Christ Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a parishioner of the R.C. Church of the Nativity, Midland Park.

CARL J. FISCHER, 78, of Rochelle Park, formerly of North Bergen, died Saturday.
Before retiring, he was a tool and die maker for Bruderer Machinery, Ridgefield Park.
An Army Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he was a member of American Legion Post 170, Rochelle Park.
He was a member of the Arcola Methodist Church, Paramus, the Rochelle Park zoning board, and the Sussex County Poultry Fanciers Association.
He was a former scoutmaster and a soccer and Little League coach in Rochelle Park, where he was active in Project Pride. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

JOSEPHINE CAPONE FRITSCH, 67, of Paramus, formerly of North Bergen, died Thursday.
Before retiring, she was a buyer's assistant at Toys "R" Us, Paramus.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus.

WALTER L. HAIGHT, 81, of Englewood died Wednesday.
Before retiring in 1985, he was an express mail manager for the U.S. Postal Service in Englewood, where he worked for 38 years.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Demarest.

PATRICIA ANGELIA HARNETT, 30, of Hawthorne, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Thursday.

EDWARD L. HETHERINGTON, 89, of Elmwood Park died Friday.
