From 1967 to 1969, she assisted the chairman of the Nursing Department at William Paterson College in organizing and implementing the Baccalaureate Degree Program in Nursing.
She was assistant director of the National League for Nursing, Department of Diploma and Associate Degree Program, New York City.
From 1955 to 1961, she was director of the School of Nursing for Hackensack Hospital.
She was a member of the American Nurses Association, the National League for Nurses, and New Jersey League for Nursing.
She was a life member of the Teachers College at Columbia University, New York City, and was past president of the New Jersey State Nurses Association.
She served as New Jersey Nursing League Representative to the New Jersey Department of Higher Education Health Professions Education Advisory Council Nursing Subcommittee.
From 1986-1987, she was listed in Who's Who in American Nursing.
A 1941 graduate of St. Michael's Hospital School of Nursing, she received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Seton Hall University.
In 1971, she earned a master's in education from Columbia University, New York City, and received her doctorate from Rutgers University Graduate School of Education, New Brunswick, in 1980.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Wood-Ridge 60-Plus Club.
She was a former organist for Bethany Methodist Church, Jersey City.

Before retiring in 1972, she was the principal of Cambridge School, Saddle Brook, for 22 years.
The school was renamed in her honor upon her retirement.
