Irwin, Roberta A.
(nee Amme) On Dec. 3, 2007, age 88, of Haddon Hts., formerly a 38 year resident of Collingswood, and wife of the late Alexander Irwin. Survived by her daughter, Donna Vecsi (Richard) of Haddonfield and 2 grandchildren, Daniel Vecsi (Janel) of Philadelphia and Amy Dooley (Michael) of Highlands, NJ. Mrs. Irwin was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star (O.E.S.) Fairview Chapter #219. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Lowe’s Health Food Store in Haddon Heights for over 10 years. Additionally, she had been a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Collingswood. Mrs. Irwin’s family and friends are invited to her O.E.S. Service on Saturday, 10 AM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield. Following the O.E.S. Service, the family will receive friends until the Religious Service begins at 11 AM. PADGETT, MILDRED I.
(nee Wonderly) On Nov. 25, 2007, age 96, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Haddonfield and wife of the late William M. Padgett. Survived by 2 daughters, Nancy Savaiano and Eleanor Jones (Glenn), both of Cherry Hill, 7 grandchildren, Glenn, Craig, Colleen, Lisa, Kim, Rhonda and Jeffrey, 13 great grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Wonderly. Mrs. Padgett’s family will receive friends, Thursday, after 10 AM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield, NJ; where her Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment, Lakeview Mem. Keller, Fred Dickerson
Age 93, formerly of Haddon Twp., died on November 18, 2007 from pneumonia complications at the Evergreens Retirement Facilities in Moorestown, NJ.
He was born in Kingston, PA on June 14th, 1914, attended public schools there and graduated from The Storm King School in N.Y.
In World War II, his draft number 158 was the first number drawn in that local and he joined the 156 Field Artillery which left Phila. for Camp Shelby, Mississippi. After serving in the Pacific, he returned to attend Finance Officer’s Training School at Duke Univ. He served at Fort Sheridan, IL until he retired as a Captain.
In 1947, he went to work for NCR in Philadelphia and retired as Bank Division Manager. He then worked for Central Penn National Bank in Phila., serving as Vice President, Correspondent Bank Division until 1984. After retirement, Mr. Keller was Executive Director of South Jersey Bankers Assn.
He is survived by his wife Marion, his daughters, Christine Keller Travis Durham and Anne Keller Roorbach, and 5 grandchildren, Courtney Travis, Brooke Travis, Scott Travis, Kristen Roorbach Jamison and Elisabeth Roorbach.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 24th at 11AM in the Evergreens Chapel, 309 Bridgeboro Rd., Moorestown, NJ 08057.

Bynum, Margaret
(nee Morgan) On November 16, 2007, age 84, of Haddonfield, formerly of Medford Lakes, and the beloved wife of Richard T. Loving mother of Beth Bynum, of Medford, Jim Bynum, of Colorado, Roger Bynum, of Phila., Kathy Geiger, of Millville, and Margaret Leslie Whaley, of Idaho Falls, ID. SNYDER, ERIC W.
After a 4-year battle with cancer, Eric died on Nov. 17, 2007 with his family and friends by his side. He is survived by his parents, David and Diane (nee Belis) Snyder, of Haddonfield, his brother, Dan, of Huntington Beach, CA, and his sister, Kirstin, of Haddonfield, grandparents, Herb and Ali Snyder, of Kure Beach, NC, his grandmother Estelle Belis, of Whiting, NJ and his girlfriend, Kaitlyn Randall of Westmont, NJ. Eric’s family and friends are invited to his Memorial service, Tuesday, 4 PM, at the Haddonfield Quaker Meeting, Friends Ave., Haddonfield; where his family will greet friends following the service. COSTIGAN, Lawrence P., Jr.
On November 13, 2007, age 64, of Florence Twp., formerly a longtime resident of Haddonfield and loving husband of Roberta “Bobbi” (nee Giordano). Also survived by his children, Christine E. Carney (Robert) of Burlington Twp. and Lawrence P., III of Madison, NJ, 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Cate Carney, his mother, Marion Costigan of Moorestown, 4 brothers, John (Jane) of Swainton, NJ, Patrick (Denise) of Moorestown, Thomas (Joann) of Woodbury, Michael (Teresa) of Haddonfield and one sister, Catherine Baldwin (Timothy) of Bellmawr. Mr. Costigan was predeceased by his father, Lawrence, Sr. and sister, Rose Mary Dyer. Mr. Costigan served with the 82nd Airborne of the United States Army as a member of the Military Police. He was the owner of Costigan Plumbing Co., Inc., in Haddonfield, for over 29 years. Mr. Costigan’s family will receive friends on Sunday evening, 5-8 PM, at Christ the King R.C. Church, 200 Windsor Ave, Haddonfield, NJ. His Funeral Mass will follow on Monday morning at 10AM. Interment, Hillcrest Mem. Park, Pitman, NJ. Read, Eleanor
(nee Krewson) On November 4, 2007, age 89, of Cherry Hill, beloved wife of the late William T. Read, M.D. Survived by 1 brother, Richard Krewson, of South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Read had been a Concert Pianist and a long time Patron of the Arts in Philadelphia. Along with her husband, Dr. Read, she also had been an active Board member of The Coriell Institute for Medical Research for numerous years. Additionally, Mrs. Read and her husband enthusiastically traveled extensively throughout the world. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
