Manning, Anne M.
(nee Peters) On November 21,2006, age 69, the beloved wife of the late John C. Born in Camden, raised in Magnolia and longtime resident of Haddonfield, Mrs. Manning graduated from Camden Catholic H.S. class of 1955, and Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. The job she enjoyed most was as a school nurse for the children of Christ the King. Mother of the late John C. Jr. and is survived by two daughters, Anne Marie Manning, M.D. (Alex), of Mechanicsburg, PA, Maureen E. Manning of Hershey, PA, 3 sons, Christopher M. Manning (Sook Kim, M.D.), of Haddonfield, Thomas P. Manning (Kari Draper, M.D.), of Narberth, PA, Dennis J. Manning, II (Abigail), of Haddon Heights, and 17 grandchildren, Erin ,Kyle, Elise, Maura, Matthew, Sean, Catherine, Padraic, Caroline, Julia, Anna, Jack, Martin, Will, Anne, Nora and Colin.
Mrs. Manning’s family will receive friends Friday morning from 9 – 10:45 AM at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11AM. Brennan, Nancy (Gamon)
On November 19, 2006, age 77, of Cherry Hill, beloved wife of the late James E. Brennan, M.D. Loving mother of Barbara B. May, of Cherry Hill, James P. Brennan, of Nuangola, PA, Betsy B. Osterhout, of Voorhees, Judith B. Hrad, of Chicago, and Nancy Lee Smith, of Stratford. Also survived by 13 grandchildren. Nancy dedicated many years to serving local, state and national Medical Society Auxiliaries. A capable leader and parliamentarian, she was President of the Camden County and New Jersey Medical Society Auxiliaries and served on the AMA Auxiliary Board as Treasurer. She was also an active member of the Women's Board of Cooper Health System. Mrs. Brennan’s family will receive friends, Saturday morning, November, 25th, from 9-10:30 AM at Kain-Murphy Funeral Home, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield. Services will follow at 11 AM in the First Presbyterian Church of Merchantville, 10 W. Maple Ave., Merchantville. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden. Danch, Mary Anne
(nee Detrick) On November 17, 2006, age 92, a long time resident of Haddonfield and the beloved wife of the late Gabriel E. Danch. She is the loving mother of Jonathan E. Danch (Sylvania), of Rye, NH, Jill D. Mascena (Tony), of Cherry Hill, Sally D. Sherron (John), of Yardley, PA and Bonnie D. Bell (Chuck), of Wenonah, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a niece, Heidi Detrick and a nephew Herbert W. Detrick, both of Indiana. Mrs. Danch was the Chairman of the Haddonfield Red Cross Blood Bank for 40 years and a member of the Haddonfield Chapter of the D.A.R. Mrs. Danch’s family will receive friends Saturday morning, November 25th, from 9:30 to 10:15 AM in the parlor of the First Presbyterian Church, 20 E. Kings Hwy., Haddonfield, NJ 08033; her Memorial Service will follow in the church’s sanctuary at 10:30 AM. Stavely, Naomi
(nee Righter) On November 8, 2006, age 83, of Collingswood and a former long time Haddonfield resident. Mrs. Stavely is the mother of William S. and his wife, Patrice, of Collingswood and Thomas B., III and his wife, Patti, of Cocoa Beach, FL. Also survived by 3 granddaughters, Leah, April and Elyse, a sister, Carol Mastran and her husband, John, of Moorestown and a cousin, Marianna Johnson, of Cherry Hill. Mrs. Stavely was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield and taught Kindergarten at the Haddonfield Friends School in the late 1940’s. Most importantly, she will always be remembered as a very sweet and kind person. Mrs. Stavely’s family will receive friends Saturday morning after 10AM at Kain-Murphy Funeral Home, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield. Her funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Bratten, William E., III
On November 4, 2006, age 69, a long time Haddonfield resident and son of the late Elizabeth W. and William E. Bratten, Jr. Mr. Bratten was a long time Art Appraiser. He loved French culture and the French language, and lived in France for over a decade. MORGAN, LEONARD A.
On Nov. 1, 2006, age 99, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Haddonfield and husband of the late Helena J. (Nee Jones). Survived by his son Alfred L. Morgan of Portland, OR, and 3 grandchildren. Mr. Morgan graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Chemistry in 1929. He worked at the Marine Corps Supply Depot and the Philadelphia Naval Yard for 32 years until his retirement in 1974. He was a long time member of the Haddonfield United Methodist Church and enjoyed photography and mineral collecting. Family and friends are invited to Mr. Morgan’s Memorial Service, Saturday, 11AM, in the Chapel of the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ 08033; where the family will receive friends after 10:30 AM. (nee Cinelli) On Oct. 26, 2006, age 88, of Westmont, formerly of Haddonfield, wife of the late John M. and the last surviving child of Julio and Antoinette Cinelli, the original founders of Cinelli’s Country House. She was the loving mother of Christine A. Bitting (John Schmehl) of Westmont and Jack Bitting and his wife Karen of Haddonfield and the beloved grandmother of Kaitlin and John Bitting. She was devoted to her extended family and friends. Mrs. Bitting’s family will receive friends on Monday, after 9 AM at Christ The King R.C.
