Also survived by his sister, Abigail Rachel Schwartz of Haddonfield, his grandmother, Albertine Schwartz of Marlboro, NJ and his aunt, Susan Lynn Schwartz, of Lodi, NJ. Family and friends are invited to his graveside Service, Monday, 12 noon, at Colestown Cemetery, Kings Hwy. & Church Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ. McClelland, Amelia J.
(nee Wacker) On Sept. 11, 2006 after a long illness at home, age 85, a Haddonfield resident for over 35 years, longtime employee of AT&T and the wife of the late Robert. Survived by 2 nieces, Nancy Reynolds of Magnolia and Rosemarie DelPina of King of Prussia, PA. Mrs. McClelland’s family will receive friends after 9:30 AM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield, NJ; where her Service will follow at 10 AM. Interment, Harleigh Cem., Camden, NJ.

Alberts, Nancy A.
(nee Markham) On September 12, 2006, age 57, of White Oak, PA, formerly of Haddonfield, and daughter of the late DeWitt and Mary Markham. Mrs. Alberts is survived by her beloved husband, Charles J. Alberts, the loving mother of Christopher (Carlyn), of Arlington, VA and Elizabeth, of White Oak, PA and sister of Richard G. Markham, of Bryant Pond, ME. Family and friends are invited to her Memorial Service, Sat, 1 PM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield. Interment private. AXNER, JOHN A., JR.
On September, 11, 2006, age 83, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Haddonfield, the beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Stevens) and the devoted father to John A. Axner, III (Luecrisha), of Medford, G. Steven Axner (Diane), of Tabernacle and Lisa A. DeGraffenreid, of Medford. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Steven A. and Elissa C. Axner, 3 stepgrandchildren, 4 great stepgrandchildren, and 3 sisters, Gladys Kish, of Ft. Smith, AK, Alma Renne, of Westmont, NJ and Elise DePaul, of Ocean City, NJ. Mr. Axner, was a veteran of WWII, serving with the 82nd Airborne Division. He saw action in France and Belgium and jumped in the "Rhineland Operation". Mr. Axner was a Mason. He belonged to Audubon Parkside Lodge #218 F & A. M. for 50 years. He also belonged to the Collingswood "Old Grads" with whom he loved to play golf. Mr. Axner sold industrial steel for many years and formed his own company in the 1980's. Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Service, Sat., 12 noon, in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church, 20 E. Kings Hwy. Haddonfield. Mr. Axner's family will receive friends in the church parlor after 11 AM. Interment will be private in the Cold Spring Veterans Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ. Memorial donations in Mr. Axner's name may be made to the Coriell Institute for Medical Research, 401 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103.

McCAHAN, G. ELAINE
(nee Russell) On September 6, 2006, age 86, of Loveland, CO, formerly of Haddonfield, NJ and wife of the late Thomas W. and mother of the late Marilyn Louise McCahan. Elaine is survived by her son Russell McCahan and his wife Kay Collins of Loveland; her brother Bob Russell of Bellingham, Washington; and her two grandchildren Elizabeth and Tommy McCahan.
Elaine was born February 2, 1920 in Bridgeville, Delaware to Walter and Georgia (Isaacs) Russell. She graduated from Bridgeville High School in 1938 and later received her Associates Degree in Business Management.
On April 25, 1948, Elaine was united in marriage to Thomas McCahan in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. They moved to Germantown, Pennsylvania, where she owned the Elaine Russell Beauty Salon, before moving to Haddonfield, New Jersey in 1955. She worked at Yvonne's Restaurant in Westmont and in Haddonfield and later worked for Stone and Webster Engineering in Cherry Hills, New Jersey. Elaine belonged to the Haddonfield Plays & Players and the Haddonfield Senior Center. She also volunteered her time at the Good Will and Humane Society in Camden County.
Elaine loved gardening, nature, and animals of all kinds, but she had a special love for cats. She also loved collecting and restoring antiques. She enjoyed spending time outside and visiting with her neighbors and the neighborhood children.
Elaine's family and friends are invited to her Services, Friday, 2 PM, at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Wood La. & Wayne Ave., Haddonfield; where her family will greet friends following the Service. Burial will be held privately at Beverly National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Larimer County Humane Society in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.

FUNK, DOLORES GAIL Dee
(nee McGinley) On Sept. 10, 2006, age 70, of Cherry Hill, and beloved wife for 46 years of Kenneth A. Funk. Also survived by 2 daughters, Alison F. Beakley of Swedesboro, NJ and Stacey F. Berradi of Walnut Creek, CA, 4 grandchildren, and 1 brother, Kenneth McGinley of NC. Dee was raised in Blackwood, NJ and as a teenager she was active in the Eastern Stars (especially through her grandmother) and Christian Endeavor. Her family were avid bowlers. Dee met her husband in a bowling league that she participated in with her father, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was very active in the Christian Womens Club, serving 2 years as Chairman. After her children were in school, she worked part time as a medical secretary in Cherry Hill for 25 years. Additionally, she went on several tours to Europe all with church groups. She had been to England, Scotland, Spain, Holland, Belgium and Germany with Heritage Tours and with a parish went to see Florence, Rome and Sorrento; Israel twice. She went to Greece following St. Pauls journeys with a conductive bible study pilgrimage that included 6 buses. Dees family will receive friends on Friday Evening, 7-9 PM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield; where her Service will follow on Saturday, 10:30 AM. Interment, Locustwood Cem., Cherry Hill, NJ.

MOORE, HILDEGARDE H.
(nee Schiek) On Aug. 31, 2006, age 88, of Cherry Hill and wife of the late William J., Jr. Survived by 1 son Dennis W. Moore and 1 daughter, Paula M. Amerman and her husband Jeff, all of Cherry Hill, 2 grandsons, Daniel & Matthew and her twin sister, Bertha Nash of Richmond, IN. Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Moores name to the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Wood La. & Wayne Ave., Haddonfield, NJ 08033.
