Riley, Adele D.
(nee Petit), age 86, of Medford Leas, formerly of Collingswood, and the beloved wife of the late Walter B., Jr. Mrs. Riley is the loving mother of Walter (Spike) B., III and his wife, Peg, of Cherry Hill and John (Rocky) T., of Haddon Heights. She is also the grandmother of Michael and his wife, Anna, Rachel, JT and Devenne, and great grandmother of Luke and Haley. Mrs. Riley was a lifelong resident of South Jersey having been raised in Erlton and residing after her marriage in Collingswood, Lumberton and Medford. She was a past President and lifetime member of the Haddon Field Club and active with numerous charities. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 1st, 2:30 PM, in the Medford Leas Auditorium, Medford, NJ. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Burlington County, NJ Chapter, or Planned Parenthood of Southern New Jersey.
Kehoe, Thomas J.
On March 19, 2006, age 88, a long time resident of Haddonfield and the husband of Grace (nee Kelly). Mr. Kehoe is also survived by 2 grandsons, Thomas and his wife Linda Carpenter, of Phila. and Jeffrey and his wife Jennie, of Haddonfield, 2 great grandchildren, Zachary and Katie, and 4 brothers, Lawrence, of Martha’s Vineyard, MA, William, of Boca Raton, FL, Jack, of Somers Point, NJ, and Richard, of Pennsauken. Mr. Kehoe retired in 1986 after serving 13 years as an International Union Representative of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. Prior to that, Mr. Kehoe served as Vice President and the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 322 in Camden. He was also a long time member of Christ the King Church in Haddonfield, a 50 year member of the Santa Maria Knights of Columbus and belonged to Eagles Nest and Clearwater Country Clubs. Mr. Kehoe’s family will receive friends Tuesday eve, 7- 8 PM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Home, West End Ave. at Kings Hwy. His Funeral Mass will follow Wed. morning, 10 AM, at Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. HAYDEN, LYDIA MAE
(nee Ricco) On March 17, 2006, age 96, a lifelong resident of Audubon, avid bridge player and wife of the late Orrin K. and mother of the late Suzanne Laura Kelly. Survived by her son Charles R. Hayden, 3 grandchildren, Christine Mae Dawson, Lisa Anne Patane and Joseph J. Kelly and great grandchildren, Desire & Dana Kelly, Brittany & Zachary Patane and Noah Scott Dawson. Mrs. Haydens family will receive friends on Tuesday after 10 AM at Logan Memorial Presbyterian Church, White Horse Pike & Merchant St., Audubon; where her Service will follow at 11 AM. She was a member of the church and its Womens Association for more than 50 years. Her Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment, Arlington Cem., Pennsauken , NJ.
Pharo, Merritt W.
at age 95, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006. A life long resident of Haddonfield, NJ, and recently of Stuart, FL. Mr. Pharo was the beloved husband of the late Mary Bell (nee Forsythe) and Mary Elizabeth (nee Richardson). He is also survived by 1 daughter, Priscilla Pharo of Cherry Hill, NJ, 1 son, Merritt W. Pharo, III, of Hobe Sound, FL, 2 grandchildren, David G. Pharo and Mary P. Shea and 1 great grandson, Jacob D. Pharo. Mr. Pharo was the proprietor of the Tuckerton Water Works Co. He briefly served as the superintendent of Haddonfield’s Public Works and Water Dept.. He also had a career in life and casualty insurance underwriting and was a Realtor in Haddonfield. He was very active in Haddonfield’s Society of Friends and the Haddonfield Rotary Club where he was a “Paul Harris Fellow.” In addition, he was a life member of the Cooper River Yacht Club, a charter member of the Tuckerton Sea Port Museum, a member of the Haddonfield Historical Society, the Haddonfield 65 Club and Haddonfield Interfaith Caregivers. A Memorial Service in the manner of Friends will be held at Haddonfield Friends Meeting (Friends Avenue and Lake Street) on Friday, March 17, at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Interfaith Caregivers, P. OKULSKI, JOSEPH A.
On March 9, 2006, age 68, of Westmont, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, employed by Keystone Shipping Co. in Bala Cynwyd for 43 years and husband of K. Joan (nee Bondar). Also survived by his daughter Karyn Kahn and her friend John Cheney, of Westmont, a sister, Regina Schuyler, of Queens, NY and a brother-in-law, William Bondar, III and his wife Monica, of West Deptford, NJ. Mr. Okulski's family will receive friends on Tuesday Evening, 7-9 PM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield, NJ. His Memorial Mass will follow on Wednesday, 10 AM, at St. Vincent of Pallotti Catholic Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp., NJ. Interment private. FOX, JULIA
Julia Brook Fox, a resident of Haddonfield for over 50 years, died in her home on March 9, aged 90. Mrs. Fox was born in Philadelphia and moved to Runnemede as a child. She graduated from Audubon High School in 1933, and began her career as a secretary for General Chemical and later became executive secretary at H.M. Hollingshead Company. In 1940, she married Charles Fox and continued working until the birth of her daughter. They lived in Merchantville until 1955 when they moved to Haddonfield.Mrs. Fox eventually went back to work in the Haddonfield office of what was then the Camden Trust Company. She retired from banking in 1981, a year after Mr. Fox's death. Mrs. Fox's hobbies included bridge, gardening, travel, and golf which she took up in her seventies. An avid storyteller, Mrs. Fox had a remarkable memory for detail and often told anecdotes about family history and her childhood. She was a rose enthusiast and enjoyed sharing her roses with friends and neighbors. Mrs. Fox played bridge for many years and was active as a player and team captain at Tavistock Country Club and otherlocal bridge teams. She was a parishioner at Christ the King Church in Haddonfield.
She is survived by her daughter Juliette F. Eastwick and her son-in-law Carl Eastwick of Lutherville, Maryland. Other survivors include her grandsons, Edward Eastwick of Washington, D.C., and Matthew Eastwick of New York City and his wife Jacqueline, her great-grandchildren William, Andrew, and Katherine Brook Eastwick, and many nieces and nephews. Her sister Elinora Witt and brothers James Brook and Joseph Brook predeceased her.

MURPHY, BLAIR M.
On March 8, 2006, age 68, Funeral Director, longtime resident of Haddonfield and beloved husband of Cynthia (nee Wisser). Also survived by 2 children, Blair T. Murphy of Windber and Donna Murphy Kosco (Andrew J.) of Cream Ridge, NJ, 3 grandchildren, Drew, Ireland & Haley Kosco and sister, Helen Seals and her family of Lynchburg, VA.
Mr. Murphy graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School and Eckels College of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia. He became associated with Holl Funeral Home in 1956 and purchased it in 1973, changing the name to Holl-Murphy Funeral Home. Blair served for 2 years as a member of the Army Quartermaster Corps. In 1966, Blair was elected to the post of Camden County Coroner for a period of 2 years and when the position was reorganized, he continued to serve as an Investigator for the next 18 years.
He was a member of Tavistock Country Club, Haddonfield Civic Assoc., Haddonfield Business Assoc., Haddonfield Republican Club, Haddonfield Historical Society, Haddonfield Lodge #15, F. & A.M., Camden County YMCA, Camden County American Cancer Society, Haddonfield Friends of the Library, Haddonfield Council of Churches, Haddonfield American Legion Post #38, Haddonfield Preservation Society, Haddonfield Grange # 38, Men's Breakfast Club: Holy trinity Church, Collingswood, Haddonfield Rotary Club, Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary International, Haddonfield Kiwanis Club, West Jersey Funeral Directors’ Assoc., NJ State Funeral Directors’ Assoc., National Funeral Directors’ Assoc., Haddonfield Board of Health and longtime member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Additionally, Blair served as President, Chairman, Trustee, Treasurer and on the Board of Directors for many of these organizations. In 2000, he was selected as Haddonfield’s Citizen of the Year.

His Service will be on Monday, 11 AM, at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Wood La. & Wayne Ave., Haddonfield, NJ 08033.
