On December 10, 2005, age 86, of Voorhees, formerly of Cherry Hill and Haddonfield, and the beloved husband of the late Alice R. Gerber. Mr. Garwood is survived by 2 loving daughters, Bettie Wilcox and her husband, Walter, of Mt. Laurel and Barbara Bohac and her husband, Jim, of Jacksonville, FL, 4 grandchildren, Victoria, Dawn, Susan and Steven, 6 great grandchildren and a sister, Norma Lawrence, of Cinnaminson. Mr. Garwood was a long time Granger. He was Past Master of Haddon Grange # 38 and Pomona Grange. He had been a member of the NJ State Grange, the National Grange and a Grange Representative to numerous NJ Agricultural Conventions. Mr. Garwood worked with his father in their excavating business and then was a heavy machinery operator for Cherry Hill Twp. for over 15 years. Additionally, Mr. Garwood was a long time member of the GEMS Bowling League and had been active with the Girl Scouts of America. His family will receive friends, Tuesday eve., 7-9 PM, and Wednesday morning, 10-11 AM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, West End Ave. at Kings Hwy., Haddonfield; where the Service will follow on Wed. at 11 AM. Interment, Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Mem. Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
Spiegle, Jr., John R.
On December 10, 2005, age 93, a Haddonfield resident for over 54 years and the loving husband of Miriam (nee Butler). Mr. Spiegle is also the loving father of Conni Spiegle, of Lindenwold and Marci Spiegle, of Haddon Twp. Mr. Spiegle was a graduate of Drexel Univ. at the age of 42. He was also a graduate of NYU School of Meteorology. He served as a Meteorologist during WWII in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Spiegle was discharged as a Captain after 4 years of service and spent an additional 24 years in the Air Force reserve. He retired as a Lt. Colonel. Mr. Spiegle retired from Hajoca Corp. as President after 40 years of service. He also had been an active member of the Haddonfield 65 Club, a dedicated volunteer for the Interfaith Caregivers of Haddonfield and a long time member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Haddon Heights. Family and friends are invited to Mr. Spiegel’s Service, Thursday, 10:30 AM at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, West End Ave. at Kings Hwy., Haddonfield; where the family will receive friends after 9 AM. COLTART, ELSIE B.
(nee Birch) On Dec. 1, 2005, age 95, of Galloway Twp., and wife of the late Bruce Coltart. Survived by her brother, Kenneth Morris of Sarasota, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Coltart attended Strayers Business School. Additionally, she was and avid golfer and a member of the Atlantic City Women’s Club Golf Association. Dilks, Harold J.
On November 29, 2005, age 82, of Cherry Hill, beloved husband of Carol M. (nee Black). He is the loving father of David Dilks, of Blackwood, Carol Lynn Vain, of Limerick, PA, Steven Dilks, of Clementon and Melody D’Angelo, of Marlton. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and a sister, Betty McGrath, of Camden. Mr. Dilks was a highly decorated veteran of WWII which included the Purple Heart Medal. He had been a Navy Bomber Pilot who flew in the Battle of Midway. Mr. Dilks had a career as a Marine Design Engineer and was a long time affiliate of numerous Masonic Lodges in the tri-state area. The family will receive friends Monday eve., 7-9PM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, West End Ave. at Kings Hwy., , Haddonfield. Services will follow Tuesday morning, 11 AM, in the Sanctuary of the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ 08033. Interment private. Dear sister of Dolores Benedetto and Vincent Urbano. Devoted grandmother of Rebekah Anne, Kristina Marie, Sondra Nicole, Mitchell, Dylan and Julian. Loving great grandmother of Hailey, Eric, Nathaniel, Emily and Khalel. JoAnne is also survived by her life-long best friend Linda Emery.

Franco C. Iacono, age 67 years, of Elm, NJ died of Cancer at his home on May 17, 2006.
Mr. Iacono was a self employed Barber working in Italy, Massachusetts and Las Vegas. His hobby and passion was gardening. Surviving is his wife Santina A. (nee Catalfamo), his devoted step children, Carmela Conley and her husband Kevin of Methuen, MA, Anna Marie Graves and her husband Lenny of Hammonton, Francesca Getchell and her husband Bert of Salem, NH, Nick LoPresti and his wife Susan of Voorhees, Artilio LoPresti and his wife Dayna of Las Vegas. Proud grandfather of Michelle, Aileen, Santina, Anthony, Gianna, Sonny, Sophia and Gia.
The family will greet friends and neighbors Saturday, May 27 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 120 United States Ave., Gibbsboro, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Interment will be private.

Ethel Marie Hoover (nee Smith) age 79yrs. passed peacefully at home on May 21, 2006 after a short battle with cancer.
She loved to travel, collect teddy bears and was an avid NASCAR Race Fan.
Born and raised in New Jersey, she lived her happiest time in life residing in Nokomis, FL until returning to Folsom, NJ 15 years ago.
She is survived by her son Anthony R. Siscone and his wife Margi of Hammonton, NJ, a daughter, Joyce Comunale and her husband Robert of Folsom, NJ. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Jeanne Mahoney and her husband James of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Jackie Siscone of Mays Landing, NJ and A. Jay Siscone of Hammonton, NJ.
Services will be held only for the family in a private setting.
