on October 1, 2005, age 85 yrs. Mrs. Giordano was a resident of Atco, NJ for 64 yrs. She is the beloved wife of 55 yrs to the late Salvatore A. “Sam” Giordano. Loving mother of Dan Giordano and his wife Christine of Marlton, NJ and Cindy Giordano of Atco, NJ. Dear sister Angelo Simone of Turnersville, NJ, Betty Regis of MA, Rosie McCullough of Pomona, NJ, Gloria Pelaschier of Elm, NJ the late Natalie Ezzi and the late Joseph Simone. Proud grandmother of Scott Giordano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Giordano was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, 10:00am to 11:45am at the Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ

Oliver F. Layfield
On October 4, 2005 of Williamstown, NJ age 78yrs. (formerly of Radner, PA). Beloved husband of Shirley B. Layfield (nee Brown). Loving father of Scott Layfield of Williamstown and Mark Layfield and his wife Selena of Woolwich Twp. Dear son of the late Oliver W. & Elizabeth Layfield. Proud grandfather of Christopher & Brandon. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Gwen and his nieces and nephews.
Mr. Layfield worked for the Daimler-Chrysler Corporation for 20 years. His hobby was cars. Mr. Layfield was also a 32nd Degree Mason for many years at the Paoli Lodge.
Services and Interment were private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 North Monroe Ave., Wenonah, NJ 08090 would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Sister of Anna Scafidi of Morton, PA, Nettie Krebs of Waterford, Mary Colucci of Springfield, PA, Madge Sylvester of Williamstown, Lucy DeSanctis of Thorndale, PA and the late Sebastian Calvano. Mrs. Scardino was also pre-deceased by her baby brother Joseph. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Jennifer Daug, Robin Scardino, Kevin Daug, Tracy Scardino, Kyle Koenig, Jason Koenig, & A.J. Scardino.

Surrounded by angels she passed away on October 6, 2005.
Madeleine was the devoted mother of Missy and Stefanie Zuber. Beloved sister of Florence Ann and Tom Dawson. Her passing has caused great sadness to her family of devoted aunts and uncles, her nieces, cousins, and her friends. Madeleine was predeaseased by her husband, Steve Zuber and her parents Charles and Josephine Spiegler.

Robert Wayne Brown
Age 95 died October 3, 2005 at Kennedy Mem. Hosp. in Cherry Hill., NJ. He was born Sept. 15, 1910 in Grand Junction, CO and attended Mesa College in Grand Junction. Early in his career, Mr. Brown lived in Kansas City, MO where he was a municipal bond trader for Commerce Trust Company. While there he was elected to the Missouri General Assembly for Jackson Co. in 1947 and 1948. In 1960 he moved to Phila where he worked in the municipal finance department for Kidder Peabody & Co. until his retirement in 1976. He had been a resident of Uxbridge at Cherry Hill since 1976. He was elected to the governing board of the Association there. Mr. Brown was active in Republican politics both in the Midwest and Phila areas. Mr Brown was a member of Mesna, the Phila Skating Club and the South Jersey Center for the Arts. On November 22, 1964 he married Katherine McCarthy Bickel. His wife preceded him in death.
He is survived by his two step-daughters, Betty Kay Foster of Lumberton, NJ and Anne Emerson, Ft. Scott, KS.
