A 33 year police veteran, he retired from the Berlin Boro Police Dept. where he served as Chief of Police for 25 years. Active in the community, he was a member and Past President of the Berlin Lions Club. He was a key person in the Hockey International Exchange with Canada for many years sponsored by Berlin Lions, a life member and past Asst. Chief of the Berlin Fire Co. #1, charter member and past commander of ANMAC VFW Post #6253, founder of Berlin VFW Ambulance Assn. and he was instrumental in the creation of the Berlin I.C. Ambulance Assn. The chief was a member of FOP Lodge #56, exempt member of NJ State Firemen’s Assn, a member of S.J. Retired Police and Fire Chiefs Assn, International Association of Chiefs of Police, Past President of Camden County Chiefs of Police Assn, and retired life member of the S.J. Police Chiefs Assn.
