Jacqueline F. Chamberlain (nee Clark), a resident of Haddonfield, died on January 19, 2010, aged 84.
She was the wife of William Chamberlain. She was a member of Grace Church and the DAR of Haddonfield. She was also active at Bancroft.
ERICKSON, Sybil
Sybil Erickson, a resident of Clarks Summit PA, on January 14, 2010.
She was the widow of Miles Erickson. She served on the board of directors of the Bancroft School in Haddonfield.
HARVEY, Samuel B.
Samuel B. Harvey, a resident of Haddonfield for more than 20 years, died on August 4, 2007, aged 81.
Survivors: wife, Mary Lou; daughters, Leslie Ann (Paul) Kartuke and Karen Lynn Harvey (Tom Amidon); 2 grandchildren: Kelley Louise and Sarah Foster Kartulke.
Mr. Harvey graduated from Germantown High School in 1943 and Pennsylvania State University in 1947. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity and remained an active supporter of Penn State football throughout his life.
After graduation he worked for Strawbridge and Clothier, representing them in the development of the first point-of-sale computers. He went on to work for RCA where he pioneered the Bismac computer in the early 1950’s. He then joined the Singer Company and rose to Corporate Vice President of Systems and Computers. During his work at Singer, Mr. Harvey traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Soviet Union, South America, and Africa. Later, he formed several independent consulting firms, RHS and BRI.

GIBSON, Patrick M. II
Patrick Michael Gibson II, a resident of Haddonfield, died suddenly on August 19, 2007, aged 17 years.
Survivors: parents, Patrick M. Gibson and Denise P. Gabriel; grandparents, Foster and Elizabeth Gibson; sister, Deborah Clothier.
Pat was a member of Haddonfield Memorial High School Class of 2008. He loved weightlifting, computers, video games, and aggravating his grandfather.

BARKER, Richard A.
Richard A. Barker, a longtime Haddonfield resident, died on April 20, 2008, aged 79. He was the husband of the late Diana (nee Burk) and father of the late Mary.
Survivors: children, Caroline Sapp of CO, Suzanne Khoufory of TX, Elizabeth Barker of Haddonfield, Anthony Barker of Philadelphia PA, Christopher Barker of Lindenwold, Sara Barker of Atlantic City, Victoria Preston of IL, Theodore Barker of Camden, Juliet Barker-Stevens of FL, Jamie Barker of Hammonton, Erica Barker of Cherry Hill, Raphael Barker of Cherry Hill, William Barker of Haddonfield, and Ashley Erskowitz Barker of Haddonfield; and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Barker and his wife were known for having adopted 13 children, 12 of whom are physically, mentally, or emotionally challenged.
Memorial Service: Saturday, April 26 at 1pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 20 Kings Highway E.

DICKEY, William K.
William K. Dickey, a retired attorney, former New Jersey Assemblyman, Speaker of the Assembly, Acting Governor, and resident of Haddonfield, died today (Monday, November 3, 2008) after a long illness. He was 88.
Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9pm at Foster-Warne Funeral Home, 820 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11am at Collingswood Bible Presbyterian Church, Haddon Avenue and Cuthbert Boulevard, Collingswood, where friends may call after 10am.
MARSHALL, Caroline M.
Caroline M. Marshall, a resident of Mays Landing, formerly of Haddonfield, died on February 25, 2009, aged 97.
She was the widow of the late Harold R. Marshall.
The family invites relatives and friends to visit on Tuesday, March 3 at 10:30am at Foster-Warne Funeral Home, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon. The funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Norristown PA.

CARPENTER, Robert P.
Robert P. Carpenter a lifelong resident of Haddonfield, died on November 27, 2005, aged 75.
Survivors: wife Dwyn (nee Kent); sons Kenneth J. (Francine) of Boca Raton FL; Gary K. (Nancy) of Haddonfield; Brian S. of Cherry Hill; brothers, Thomas (Tuck) R. of Haddonfield and Edwin T. of Elsinboro.

Memorial Service: Saturday, December 3 at 11am at First Presbyterian Church.

A 1947 graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School, Mr. Carpenter founded R C Equipment Company Inc. in 1955 and owned it until 1989.
He was the longtime chairman of the Haddonfield Recreation Council and was instrumental in the development of the athletic facilities at Crows Woods. He chaired the committee to erect lights in the High School stadium, enabling football matches to be played at night in Haddonfield.
Mr. Carpenter was president of the Celebrations Association for over 25 years, a member of the Haddonfield Bicentennial Committee and co-chair of Haddonfield& #0146;s 300th Anniversary Committee. He was a member of the Lions Club and the Jaycees.
Bob and Dwyn Carpenter were named Volunteers of the Year for Interfaith Caregivers in 1998, and Mr. Carpenter was Haddonfield’s Citizen of the Year in 1977.
