MILLER, Mildred F.
Mildred F. (“Millie”) Miller (nee Parker), a resident of Riverton, formerly a longtime resident of Haddonfield, died on February 26, 2008, aged 94. She was the wife of the late Cecil J.
Survivors: a daughter, Jacqueline A. Prehn of Willingboro; a son, Craig J. (Barbara) of Warrenton VA; 5 grandchildren, Donna Beals, Scott Prehn, Cheryl Prehn, Drue Prehn, and Stephen Miller; 5 great-grandchildren, Katie, Robert, Steven, Nicholas, and Joe.
Mrs. Miller was an active member of the First Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She had been a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir.
Memorial Service: Saturday, March 1 at 10am at the First Baptist Church, 124 Kings Highway E, Haddonfield.
Interment: Private.

SETARO, Irene H.
Irene H. Setaro (nee Pommy), a resident of Haddonfield, died on December 26, 2007, aged 70.
Survivors: husband, Ferdinand J.; son, Scott Miller of Windham NY; one granddaughter; brother, William Pommy of Albuquerque NM; sister, Janine Pommy-Vega of Bearsville NY.
Mrs. Setaro graduated from the Katherine Gibbs Business School in New York NY and worked for many years at Achincloss, Parker & Redpath, a stockbrokerage in New York. She was a longtime member of Grace Church in Haddonfield where she served as Director of the Altar Guild for seven years.
Family Reception: Saturday, January 19 after 10:30am at Grace Church.

HOPKINS, Elise
Elise Hopkins (nee Woodward), a resident of Manahawkin, formerly a 60-year resident of Haddonfield, died of complications of Alzheimer’s Disease on June 13, 2008.
Mrs. Hopkins was born in Philadelphia. She graduated from The Agnes Irwin School where she was the Class Poet, and then attended the Philadelphia School of Industrial Art. In 1937, she married Anthony Cuthbert Hopkins and they moved to Haddonfield, where they raised two daughters.
Mrs. Hopkins was a lifelong painter, favoring oils and acrylics. Her paintings were shown in a number of juried art shows in the area and won a number of prizes. A member of the Haddonfield Art League and the Haddonfield Fortnightly, she continued to study and paint well into her eighties.
Survivors: daughters, Frances Hopkins O’Neill (Joseph L.) of Beach Haven, and Alice Hopkins Busoni (Mario) of New York; four grandchildren, Joseph C. O’Neill (Jennifer) of Haddonfield, James H. O’Neill (Nancy) of Collingswood, Elizabeth W. Friedman (Sander) of Medford, and Eva Busoni of New York; and eleven great-grandchildren, Luke, Margaret, Charles, Norah, Elise, Molly, Meghan, Bobbi, and Lauren O’Neill; Alexander and Emily Friedman. She was predeceased by her husband and her two sisters, Wendy Wagner and Elizabeth Disston.
Family Visitation: Friday, June 20 after 10am at Grace Church, 19 Kings Highway E.
Funeral Service: 11am.
Interment: Colestown Cemetery.

HARVEY, Katherine Claire
Katherine Claire Harvey (nee Gill), a resident of Haddonfield, formerly of Collingswood, died on December 22, 2008, aged 92.
Reception: Monday, December 29 after 6pm at St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Road, Haddon Township.
Funeral Service: 7pm.
Graveside Service: Tuesday, December 30 at 1pm at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Pearl Street, Carbondale PA.
Survivors: children, Jeanne Noffsinger of Lexington VA, Robert Harvey of Marlton, and Anne Wells of Haddonfield; 11 grandchildren, Adrianne, Jeannie, Stephanie, Victoria, Claire, John, Robert, Lyle, Carolyn, Nicole and Brooke; and 1 brother, Robert Gill of Delaware. Mrs. Harvey was predeceased by her husband, the late Paul D., and by a daughter, the late Katherine Claire.

SASS, Earl J.
Earl J. Sass, a resident of Haddonfield, died on October 4, 2008, aged 84.
Reception: Wednesday, October 8 after 9:30am at Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Avenue.
Funeral Service: 11am.
Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
Mr. Sass was an electrical engineer with RCA for 45 years, retiring in 1990. He worked on the development of color television and held a patent on the TV remote control. He was an active parishioner at Christ the King Church for more than 50 years.
Survivors: wife, Elizabeth (nee Brady); children, Timothy (Deanna) of Lawrenceville, Maureen Garvis (Michael) of Bowie MD, Bernadette Schwartz (James) of Fredericksburg VA, Frederick (fiancée Christina Zia) of Merchantville, Paul (Erin) of Daytona Beach, Theresa Kelly (Dennis) of Huntington CT, Bridget Flood (Thomas) of Midlothian VA, and Eric (Tiffany) of Milford CT; and 22 grandchildren.

MULLER, Frederic M.
Frederic M. Muller of Voorhees, formerly of Haddonfield and Hackensack, died on August 30, 2008, aged 82.
Mr. Muller was husband of the late Virginia (nee Finan) and stepfather of the late Richard and Jeffery Krasnomowitz. He is survived by a brother, Raymond (Maureen) of Bogata; a stepdaughter, Susan (John) Garra of Haddonfield; a stepson, Alex (Louann) Krasnomowitz of North Caldwell; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 1 nephew.
Mr. Muller served in the United States Navy during World War II, and upon his return worked as Contract Administrator for Curtiss-Wright in Hackensack. He later worked for the Security Department at the Hackensack Medical Center.
Mr. Muller was member of Knights of Columbus, the Hackensack Hospital Alumni Association, and the St. Vincent Pallotti Church Sacristan where he was a long-time parishioner. He served as the Grand Exalted Ruler of the Fair Lawn BPO Elks.
Memorial Service: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 3 after 9:30 a.m. at the St. Vincent Pallotti R.C. Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Township. A funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m.
Interment: Private.

VECCHIO, Joanne (“Sue”)
Joanne Vecchio (nee Waters), a resident of Haddonfield, died on July 21, 2008. She was 66 and was predeceased by her son, Daniel.
Survivors: husband, Rosario (“Ross”); son, Ross (Donna) of Canonsburg PA; daughter Kate Hilgen (Robert) of Haddonfield; sister, Kathleen Biggs of Flemington; brother, Eugene Biggs of CO; grandchildren, Andrea “Anna” Pennett, Elizabeth Hilgen, Olivia Hilgen, and Andrew Vecchio.
Family Visitation: Thursday, July 24 after 9am at Christ the King Church, Wood Lane and Hopkins Avenue.
Funeral Service: 10am.
