KRATTENMAKER, Katherine M.
Katherine M. Krattenmaker, a life-long resident of Collingswood and Cherry Hill, died on November 2, 2008, aged 88.
She was an active member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Haddonfield.
Survivors: brother, Herman Krattenmaker of Williamsburg VA; niece, Elizabeth Marzoni of Littleton CO, nephews, Thomas Krattenmaker of Vienna VA, and David Krattenmaker of Pittsburgh PA, and their families.
Miss Krattenmaker graduated from Collingswood High School and attended Drexel University. She was an executive secretary and sales agents administrator for the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company in Philadelphia for 42 years. She served as a volunteer for Virtua West Jersey Hospital of Marlton and was a member of the Virtua West Jersey Auxiliary. She belonged to the Collingswood Women's Club.
Memorial Service: Saturday, November 8 at 10am at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Wayne Avenue and Wood Lane.
Interment: Private.

IZZI, Donald L.
Donald L. Izzi, a resident of Yardley PA, formerly of Haddonfield, died of pancreatic cancer on October 8, 2008, aged 65.

Dr. Izzi graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 1965 and from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1969. He was a board-certified practitioner of family medicine and practiced in Gloucester Township from 1972 to 1998. From 1998 to May 2008, Dr. Izzi served as Medical Director and Managing Physician for the New Jersey State Police.

Shields of Medford; niece, Tracy Shields; nephews, Eric and Michael Shields; sisters-in-law, Patricia Apostle, Kathleen Reeves, Maureen Pfeffer (Bill), and Clarice Hamilton; brothers-in-law, Craig Hamilton and Thomas Hamilton.

HIGGINS, John J.
John J. Higgins, a resident of Barrington, formerly of Cherry Hill, died on October 7, 2008, aged 85.
Reception: Saturday, October 11 from 9:15 to 10:45am at Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Avenue.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
Mr. Higgins grew up in Philadelphia as the oldest of nine children. He served in the US Marines during World War II as an electrician. After the war, he raised his family in Philadelphia and was a partner in a private night club called the Irish War Veterans. Mr. Higgins moved his family to South Jersey in 1962, working as sales manager for the Yellow Pages and as a real estate agent. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Santa Maria Council #1443 (3rd Degree Knight), a member in the BE Assembly (4th Degree Knight), and a volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.
Survivors: Children, John J. Jr. (Maureen) of Sarasota FL, Charles J. (Gail) of Cherry Hill, Anne Marie Wiler (William) of Lansdale PA, Paul J. (Patti) of Philadelphia, Maureen Finkle (Robert) of Mullica Hill, Barbara Heinze (Thomas) of Woolwich Township, Joan Dunn (Joseph) of Haddonfield, and Patricia Riviera (Nelson) of Washington Township; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Donald of Broomall PA and Al of Folsom PA; and sister, Jane Puttbach of Jacksonville FL.
Mr. Higgins was predeceased by his wife, the late Mary Rita (nee Campbell).

Earl J. Sass
Earl J. Sass, a resident of Haddonfield, died on October 4, 2008, aged 84.
Reception: Wednesday, October 8 after 9:30am at Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Avenue.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
Mr. Sass was an electrical engineer with RCA for 45 years, retiring in 1990. He worked on the development of color television and held a patent on the TV remote control. He was an active parishioner at Christ the King Church for more than 50 years.
Survivors: wife, Elizabeth (nee Brady); children, Timothy (Deanna) of Lawrenceville, Maureen Garvis (Michael) of Bowie MD, Bernadette Schwartz (James) of Fredericksburg VA, Frederick (fiancée Christina Zia) of Merchantville, Paul (Erin) of Daytona Beach, Theresa Kelly (Dennis) of Huntington CT, Bridget Flood (Thomas) of Midlothian VA, and Eric (Tiffany) of Milford CT; and 22 grandchildren.

REXON, Thomas J.
Thomas J. Rexon, a lifelong resident of Haddonfield, died on May 26, 2008, aged 81.
Survivors: wife, Barbara (nee Clement); daughter, Elizabeth (Trevor) Orthmann of Haddonfield; sister, Dorothy Laib of Port St. Lucie FL; nephew, Stuart (Grace) Rexon of Pine Hill.
Mr. Rexon served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He had a career in education, teaching social studies at Haddonfield Middle School for 29 years. He was a longtime board member of the Wedgewood Swim Club.

HUTCHINSON, Helen B.
Helen B. Hutchinson (nee Suleski), a longtime resident of Haddonfield, died on April 24, 2008, aged 82. She was the wife of the late William A. Sr (one of the founders of Hutchinson Plumbing Heating Cooling). She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley.
Survivors: sons, William A. Jr (Marianne) of Haddonfield, Edward P. (Deirdre) of Moorestown, Frederick J., Thomas M. (Nancy), and Robert J. (Maria), both of Haddonfield; daughter, Mary Frances (Tom) Nicoletti of Haddonfield; 18 grandchildren, Michael, Molly, Clare, Maura, Milissa, Meghan, Paul, Katie, Thomas Jr, Jeffrey, Laura, Kelly, A. Robert, Brittany and Matthew Hutchinson, and Helene, Frances, and Anne Nicoletti; and a sister, Mary Olsen of Los Angeles CA.
Mrs Hutchinson was a longtime member of Christ the King Parish and Tavistock Country Club, where she was active with the Bridge Club and the Nine Holers.
