On May 17, 2008 of Washington Twp., age, 65. Beloved husband of Sonya M. (nee Costantini). Devoted father of Christine DeLia Soroka (Brian), and Angela Marie DeLia. Loving son of Norma P. and the Late Frederick J. DeLia, Sr. Dear brother of Mildred T. Del Viscio.
Mr. DeLia was a resident of Washington Township and has lived there for the past 39 years. He enjoyed a career of serving others for the Washington Township Police Department for over 33 years. He retired from the police department in 2000 as a Certified Emergency Management Specialist and was still active in the International Association of Emergency Managers after his retirement.
In addition, Frederick was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Local 86, the Washington Township Knights of Columbus Lodge 6236, the Washington Township Democratic Club, the St. John Newman Society and he is a life member of the American Legion, Post 521. He was also seated on the board of Directors for the American Red Cross from 1994 – 2000.
Frederick proudly served in the United States Air Force for six years and was honorably discharged in 1966.

Linda was a longtime LPN and had a history of assisting the elderly and disabled.

Jacqueline was born in France and came to the United States in 1946 at the age of 20. She was a bookkeeper for City Tavern for 10 years and enjoyed reading.
