MARY C. WARWICK McDONNELL, 72, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Aug. 21 in Hackensack University Medical Center. Surviving are her husband, Francis McDonnell; two sons, Ronald of Parlin and Tyrone of Old Bridge; two daughters, Kimberly Pyne and Jacqueline McDonnell, both of Parlin; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Entombment was in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
ANNA SCALCIONE, 22, of Old Bridge died Aug. 21. Surviving are her father, Gerard Scalcione Sr. of Old Bridge; her mother, Ramona Scalcione of Palataka, Fla.; two brothers, Gerard Scalcione Jr. of Lemour Naval Base in California and Nicholas, at home; a sister, Jessica, at home; her paternal grandmother, Amelia Scalcione of Jersey City; and her maternal grandmother, Wilhelmine Fust of the Toms River section of Dover. A Mass was offered at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
KAROL S. SIKORSKI, 75, of Old Bridge died Aug. 23 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Irene Krause Sikorski; three sons, Kenneth Sikorski of Old Bridge and Donald Sikorski and Robert Sikorski, both of Florida; a daughter, Deborah Sikorski of Florida; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Morganville section of Marlboro.
GEORGE H. STUEBER SR., 58, of Old Bridge died Aug. 24 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Brown Stueber; a son, George H. Stueber Jr. of Old Bridge; two daughters, Kathryn A. Order of the Forked River section of Lacey and Cynthia L. Grobelny of Barnegat; two sisters, Elizabeth Balfiore of Old Bridge and Charlene Pschigoda of Kansas; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. EDWARD DWYER, 80, of the Brick Town section of Brick, formerly of Old Bridge, died Aug. 20 in Brick Hospital. His wife, Agnes Thornton Dwyer, died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Cullinan of Fort Myers, Fla.; five sons, Edward Dwyer of Brick Town, Richard Dwyer of DeBary, Fla., Michael Dwyer of the Mays Landing section of Hamilton, Robert Dwyer of Freehold and Matthew Dwyer of Jackson; a brother, Walter Dwyer of Monroe, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
FAINA BUJEWICZ WERESOW, 92, of Old Bridge, formerly of Sayreville, died Aug. 25 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Dymitry, died in 1985; a son, Nicholas, died in 1991; and another son, Joseph, died in 1996. Surviving are four sons, Mark of the Parlin section of Sayreville, Eugene and Dymitry, both of Edison, and Alex of Old Bridge; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A service is planned for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 29 at St. Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church, South River. Interment
will follow in the church cemetery.
BARBARA J. ALLEN, 70, of East Brunswick died Aug. 27 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1997, she was a clerk for the Middlesex County Board of Elections, New Brunswick, where she worked for 13 years. Her husband, William, died in 1978. Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Allen of New York City, Patricia Allen of South River and Mary Allen DeWoolf of East Brunswick; two sons, William of Howell and John of New York City; her mother, Helen Burnham of Hempstead, N.Y.; two brothers, Thomas Burnham of Vermont and William Burnham of Long Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Nancy Imperio of Staten Island, N.Y., and Janet Burnham of New York City; and three grandchildren. Services are planned for 10 a.m. on Aug. 30 at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Cremation will be private. The Rev. NICOLO LODO, 66, died July 19 in Italy. Born in Italy, he resided in Bogota, Colombia, prior to moving to the United States. He served in various churches as a pastor, and was a seminary teacher in Genoa, Italy, from 1993 until his death. He was the first pastor at Jesus the Lord Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, from 1973-93. Prior to that, he was a member of the Consolata Missionary Order and served as a missionary for 15 years in Bogota. He is survived by his sister, Anna Marie, and two brothers, Arturo and Lino, all of Italy. A memorial will take place at Jesus the Lord Church, Keyport, with the date to yet be determined.
G.B. "BILL" MOLLAR, 89, of Middletown died Aug. 11 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a Middletown resident since 1952. He was a mechanical engineer at Industrial Process Engineers, Newark, for 15 years, retiring in 1977. He received his bachelor’s of science degree in engineering from Newark College of Engineering. He was predeceased by his wife, Martha Hargan Hollar, in 1999. He is survived by two sons, Bruce B. Hollar of Midlothian, Va., and Douglass S. Hollar of Galveston, Texas. LORRAINE TREZZA VINCI, 73, of Laurence Harbor died Sept. 2 at Madison Center, Old Bridge. She was a retired library assistant at Laurence Harbor Library, where she was employed for more than 20 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Carmen A. Vinci. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Vincent and Deborah Vinci of Laurence Harbor, Frank and Linda Vinci of Freehold, and Carmen Vinci of Laurence Harbor; her brother, Joseph Trezza of Laurence Harbor; two sisters, Theresa Majeski and Jeanette Townley, both of Laurence Harbor; and seven grandchildren. A funeral service will be Sept. 6 at 8:15 a.m. at The Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, Laurence Harbor. Interment
will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
