DELORES PERRINE HELPA, 70, of Sayreville died Sept. 1 at Madison Center, Old Bridge. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Edward; a daughter and son-in-law, Nora and William Jensen of Paducah, Ky.; a brother, Richard Perrine of Jackson; and two grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Sayreville United Methodist Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Middlesex County 4-H Leaders Association, 645 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick 08816.
STELLA L. KLIMEK, 72, of Sayreville died Sept. 4 at home. She was a machine operator at E.I. DuPont Photo Products, Sayreville, for 40 years, retiring in 1992. Ms. Klimek is survived by a brother and sister, Alfred Klimek and Florence O’Such, both of Sayreville. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville. Burial was at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.
NAILUN CHENG, 77, of South River, formerly of East Brunswick, died Aug. 28 at home. He is survived by a brother, Norman Naikun Cheng of Bordentown, a nephew and two nieces. Interment
was in Princeton Memorial Park, Robinsville section of Washington Township.
DOROTHY M. PASSERO, 82, of Monmouth Beach died Aug. 28 at her daughter’s home in Rumson. Born in Queens, N.Y., she lived in Neptune for 40 years before moving to Monmouth Beach. She was a communicant of Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church, Neptune. Mrs. Passero was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, in 1985. She is survived by a son, Thomas of East Brunswick; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and George Serbe of Rumson; a brother, Joseph Florio of South Carolina; a sister, Bernadette Raffa of Long Island, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Burial was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
MICHAEL RALPH DeSANTIS, 53, of South River was fatally injured during the legends cars feature race on April 13 at Wall Township Speedway. He was an active race car driver and a member of the Checker Flag Racing Club. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Riddle DeSantis; three sons, Michael DeSantis Jr., Robert DeSantis and Matthew DeSantis, all of South River; a daughter, Debra Tolmachewich of Jackson; a sister, Ellen DeSantis of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 10 a.m. on April 18 at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
ERNESTO F. RAMOS, 62, of East Brunswick died April 10 at home. Surviving are his wife, Yolanda Del Mundo Ramos; a son, Ernesto M. Ramos Jr. of Yardley, Pa.; two daughters, Rose Estevez of Florida and Roslyn Bermudez of East Brunswick; six brothers, Francisco, Constancio Jr., Romeo, Ricardo, Alberto and Noli, all of the Philippines; seven sisters, Benita Ramos of East Brunswick, and Emiliana Matel, Rosita Tuble, Lolita Marero, Vicenta Ligoy, Elma Giron and Lina Ramos, all of the Philippines; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
LUCILLE MIGLIACCIO CAMPANO, 47, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, formerly of South River, died April 8 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her mother, Theresa Montaperto Migliaccio, died in 1999. Surviving are her husband, Angelo Campano; two sons, Angelo Campano Jr. and Joseph Campano, both of Parlin; a daughter, Regina Hubbard of Nashville, Tenn.; her father, Joseph Migliaccio of Parlin; a sister, Linda Massaro of Parlin; and a grandson. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Interment
was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
JOHN AHLADIANAKIS, 58, of Woodbridge died April 10 at home. Surviving are his wife, Argiro Klidas Ahladianakis; two sons, Nicholas and Gary, both of Woodbridge; a sister, Maria Drakaki of Crete, Greece; and two grandsons. A service was held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Perth Amboy. Interment
was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
MARIAN DOUGHERTY CALABRESE, 84, of Sayreville died April 10 in The Medical Center at Princeton. Her husband, Philip Calabrese, died in 1994. Surviving are two sons, Philip Calabrese of Sayreville and James Calabrese of New Brunswick. Services were held at Kurzawa Funeral Home, Sayreville. KEVIN G. KIRK, 46, of Dover died April 8 at home. His father, James E. Kirk, died in 1997.
