JAMES HENRY DeWITT, 69, of Sebastian, Fla., formerly of Old Bridge, died March 4 at home. Surviving are his wife, Elsie Gondek DeWitt; a son, Donald DeWitt of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Cindy Allen of Jackson and Barbara "Penny" Radigan of Old Bridge; three sisters, Mary Carolyn of the Toms River section of Dover and Lillian Gargus and Nancy Woolan, both of Roselle; and eight grandchildren. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Cremation was private.
BERNARD F. DONNELLAN, 76, of Old Bridge died Feb. 28 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Brown Donnellan; three sons, Bernard Donnellan of Old Bridge, Christopher Donnellan of West Orange and James Donnellan at Camp Lejeune, N.C.; a daughter, Mary Donnellan of Old Bridge; a sister, Bridget Kenny of Warwick, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
SHEILA L. KLEIN, 88, of the Hamilton Square section of Hamilton died March 8 in Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hamilton. Her husband, Morris, died in 1991. Surviving are two sons, Bernard E. of Boca Raton, Fla., and Steven P. of Old Bridge; a daughter, Sheri Oshinsky of East Windsor; a brother, Harry Caren of University Place, Wash.; three sisters, Pat Charnow of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Clara Rimon of Tel Aviv, Israel, and Ethel Kirkland of Beaufort, S.C.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Rabbi Wayne Siet officiated at the funeral service. Interment
was in Freehold Hebrew Cemetery.
DOROTHY R. SMITH MURPHY, 76, of Sayreville died March 8 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Martin Patrick, died in 1988. Surviving are a son, Martin Patrick Jr. of Florida; three daughters, Maryellen Murphy O’Neill of Sayreville, Janie Lynn Rittweger of Spring Hill, Fla., and Patricia Ann Trpisovsky of South Brunswick; a brother, Robert Smith of the Bronx, N.Y.; a sister, Vivian Sibilio of Bridgewater; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment
was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
LOREEN V. McCRARY DURKIN, 60, of Old Bridge died March 11 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, John T. Durkin, died in 2001, and a son, John Durkin Jr., died in 1995. Surviving are a son, Patrick of Old Bridge; a daughter, Allison Renn of Jackson; and four grandchildren. A service is planned for 8:30 p.m. on March 14 at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
ANTHONY LOUIS NARDONE, 71, of Old Bridge died March 1 at home. Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Luciano Nardone; two sons, Enrico of Lincoln Park and Anthony Louis Jr. of New Port Richey, Fla.; two daughters, Kim Remo of Howell and Lisa Nardone-Scafiddi of South River; and 10 grandchildren. Services were held at Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery, Somerset section of Franklin.
