ROSEMARIE KIESELING MEYERS, 49, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Feb. 27 in Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Her husband Wayne Meyers, died in 1992. Surviving are a daughter, Erica Meyers of Columbia, S.C.; a son, Wayne Meyers Jr. of Parlin; her parents, Harry and Rose Ioffredo Kieseling, also of Parlin; and a sister, Christine Jackson of Manalapan. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment
was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
JOHN J. BUNDSCHUH, 69, of Old Bridge died Feb. 18. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Johnson Bundschuh; three sons, Kurt Bundschuh of North Brunswick, Carl Bundschuh of Washington Township and Thomas Bundschuh of Jackson; two daughters, Nancy Gorka of Piscataway and Karen Douglas of Old Bridge; a brother, Frederick Bundschuh of Fairview; and 11 grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Messiah Lutheran Church, Parlin section of Sayreville. JAMES J. SESSA, 64, of Sayreville died Feb. 18 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. His first wife, Caroline Szatkowski Sessa, died in 1983. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Dolan Sessa; a brother, Salvatore Sessa of the Fords section of Woodbridge; and a goddaughter, Mimi Pavia of Ocean City. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Cremation was private.
JOSEPH F. JESSUP, 68, of South Amboy, formerly of Old Bridge, died Feb. 28 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Surviving are six sons, Joseph F. Jessup of Middletown, N.Y., Albert E. Jessup of Pottstown, Pa., Stephen C. and Thomas C. Jessup, both of Philadelphia, Robert A. Jessup of Melrose, Mass., and Peter M. Jessup of Old Bridge; a daughter, Doris M. DONALD R. BERGEN, 67, of Old Bridge, formerly of East Brunswick, died Feb. 25 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Slizewski Bergen; two sons, Kenneth B. Bergen of Machias, Wash., and David J. Bergen of Granite Falls, Wash.; two daughters, Robyn L. Bergen of Monroe, Wash., and Linda G. McMillan of Auburn, Wash.; a brother, Gerald Bergen of White River Junction, Vt.; and eight grandchildren. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
EDWARD GEORGE SERVON SR., 81, of South River died March 2 at home. He was the original owner of Servon Sales and Service, South River. Surviving are his wife, Margaret McCaffrey Servon; two sons, Edward Servon Jr. and Thomas Servon, both of South River; two daughters, Sharon Hughes and Barbara Ann Servon, both of North Brunswick; two brothers, John Servon of South River and Alfred Servon of Plainsboro; a sister, Sophie Tobias of Sayreville; and 10 grandchildren. LISA FARMER-LAVIN, 36, of South River died Feb. 26 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Lavin; a daughter, Catherine Farmer, and a son, Andrew Farmer; her mother and stepfather, Joyce and Joseph South of Waretown section of Ocean Township; a brother, Shane Hage of Manalapan; a sister, Deborah Robert of Edison; and her grandmother, Catherine Dittman of Sayreville. LOUIS J. ALBANESE, 80, of Holmdel and formerly of South Amboy, died Feb. 27 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was predeceased by his sister, Amelia M. Albanese in 1998. He is survived by his brother, Frank J. Albanese of South Amboy; two sisters, Mary M. Jablonski of South Amboy, and Anna M. Trzaska of South River; and eight nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment

PEARL MARY ZIEMINSKI UCHNO, 81, of South River died Feb. 13 at the Cranbury Care Center, Monroe. She was born in East Brunswick. She was a homemaker as well as a retired seamstress for Reizer and Co., South River. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, South River. She was also an accomplished singer with the Eddie Barber Orchestra, and performed at several community venues. She is survived by her husband, Henry Uchno of South River; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Henry and Mary Uchno Jr. of Monroe, and Peter Uchno of North Carolina; her daughter, Maryann Newman of North Brunswick; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, South River. Burial was at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. VIRGINIA EWALD MILLER, 86, of East Brunswick died Feb. 21 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. A member of the East Brunswick Woman’s Club for 40 years, she served as the group’s president in the early 1960s. She was one of two people who hand-stitched the first flag of East Brunswick in 1965. Her husband, Herbert W. Miller, died in 1970. Surviving are two sons, Richard L. of Destin, Fla., and Donald F. of Northport, Fla.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. on March 9 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church or to the Friends of the East Brunswick Senior Center.
