EDITH DART QUINN, 74, of Spotswood died Aug. 17 at home. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville. She was predeceased by her husband, James Quinn, in 1996. Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, James and Mary Quinn Jr. of Sayreville, and Robert Quinn of Spotswood; and two granddaughters. A funeral service will be held Aug. 21 at 9 a.m. at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
FLORENCE B. HERBERT WILLIAMSON, 83, of the Morgan section of Sayreville died Aug. 18 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was a member of St. Mary𠏋 Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar M. Williamson, in 1988; her son-in-law, Michael Thornton Sr., in 2000; two sisters, Helen Ramsden and Jennie Lucka; and her brother, Matthew Herbert. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kathryn Thornton of Freehold, Joan and Robert Carew of South Am苑oy, and Jean and Gary Selover of Pascagoula, Miss.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grand苞hildren. Visitation will be Aug. 21 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at The Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Services will be held Aug. 22 at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary𠏋 Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. Interment
will be at Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.
THOMAS "WIAK" JASKO, 78, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Aug. 13 at home. Surviving are his wife, the former So計hie Strach; four daughters, Linda Trzaska of Pine Island, Fla., Lois Pete of Lawrenceville, Sharon McCarty of Parlin, and Nancy Hastie of Trenton, Fla.; a son, Steven Jasko of Par衍in; a brother, Raymond Jasko of Parlin; two sisters, Rose Clark of South Amboy and Clair Bogaczyk of Parlin; nine children and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Burial was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
THERESA A. NOWAK ROMER, 49, of Jackson, formerly of South Amboy and Old Bridge, died Aug. 9 in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was em計loyed as a security guard for Securitas, Monroe, for the past eight years. Her husband, Kenneth C. Romer, died in 1986. Surviving are two daughters, Michelle Romer of the Avenel section of Woodbridge and Kristine Romer of Jackson; her parents, John F. Sr. and Marion Lesnick Nowak of South Amboy; and her mother-in-law, Francine Romer of Spotswood. Interment
was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sayreville.
PATRICIA SCHWIND HORN, 73, of East Brunswick died Aug. 8 in Cranbury Care Center, Monroe. Surviving are her husband, Ernest H. Horn; three sons, Christopher Horn of the Bronx, N.Y., William Horn of Garnerville, N.Y., and Charles Horn of the Skillman sec負ion of Montgomery; three daughters, Patricia Fitzgerald of Old Bridge, Donna Horn of Lake Hopatcong and Suzanne Horn of East Brunswick; four sisters, Doris Arnau, Emily Bradley, Elizabeth Arnau and Eileen Heinrich; and 12 grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
CHRISANNE CIANDELLA-MOTT, 70, of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, died Aug. 12 at Robert Wood John貞on University Hospital, New Brunswick. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Lynn Mott of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick; her father, Thomas Ciandella of Old Bridge; her sister, Lisa Uveges of Mon衫outh Junction; her brother, Thomas Ciandella Jr. of Mantua; and her niece and nephew.
ALAN R. "MOUSE" MOSINAK, 55, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, formerly of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died Aug. 12 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. He was the former manager of the Mouse-Trap Bar, Morgan. Surviving are a son, Alan, and a daughter, Melissa, both of Cliffwood Beach; a brother, Jack of Morgan; and a sister, Joy Gore of Florida. Arrangements were under the direc負ion of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.
ROBERT SHERBERT, 79, of Old Bridge died Aug. 14 at Robert Wood Johnson Univer貞ity Hos計ital, New Brunswick. He was prede苞eased by a daughter, Mary Lee Blanchett, in 1997. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Mar茆aret Spak Sherbert of Old Bridge; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Marjorie Sher苑ert of Howell; a son-in-law, Rev. Deacon Ed趴ard Blanchett of Emmetsburg, Md.; two sis負ers, Doris Grempler of Lanham, Md., and Bette Detraz of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three grand苞hildren.
LOIS R. HERREL MITCHELL, 32, of Helmetta, formerly of Jamesburg, died Aug. 10 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was employed as a waitress/bartender at the Cambridge Inn, Spotswood. Prior to that, she worked at Musso𠏋 Restaurant, Jamesburg. Surviving are her husband, Robert; her mother, Karen Herrel of Jackson; four brothers, Chris of New Port Richey, Fla., James of Helmetta, David of Old Bridge and Thomas of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge; and an aunt and uncle, Donna and Ed Sorbino of Monroe. Services were held at Jamesburg Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind, 11 Penn Plaza, Suite 300, New York, NY 10001.
JOSEPH A. FARKAS, 71, of Spotswood, formerly of Old Bridge, died Aug. 13 at St. Peter𠏋 University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by a son, Andrew, in 1989, and a brother, Steven. Sur赳iving are his wife, Joyce Sauss Farkas; a daughter, Pamela Lindgren, of Spotswood; a brother, Frank of Colonia; and a sister, Helen Kutis of Ohio. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Cremation was private.
