ROSE SCALORA BALDASSANO of Spotswood died April 17 in Old Bridge Manor. Her husband, Paul Baldassano Sr., died in 1991, and a son, Salvatore Baldassano, died in 1986. Surviving are two sons, Matthew Baldassano of Middletown and Paul Baldassano Jr. of Monroe; a brother, John Chellio of Georgetown, Texas; three sisters, Antoinette of Indianapolis, Ind., Mary of Bath, N.Y., and Grace of Syracuse, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Interment
was in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, N.Y.
ANGELA ORSINI LANGE, 60, of Sayreville died April 15 at home. She was a hairdresser for 44 years and worked at Richard’s Hairstyling, Milltown. Surviving are her husband, Frederick L. Lange; two sons, Darren Lange of North Brunswick and Eric Lange of Edison; her mother, Pasqualina Orsini of Sayreville; a brother, Lou Orsini of Mahwah; and two granddaughters. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Holy Cross Cemetery

MARIE EMANUEL STEO, 82, of the Toms River section of Dover, formerly of Spotswood and Old Bridge, died April 20 in Bay Lea Village Care Center, Toms River. Her husband, John, died in 1982. Surviving are a son, Joseph Steo of Staten Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Sandra Chieffo of Toms River; four sisters, Beatrice Piccioli, Josephine LaRusso and Nancy Regan, all of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Antoinette Comparetto of the Morganville section of Marlboro; and five grandchildren. ALBERT YONCAK, 61, of Old Bridge, formerly of Marlboro, died April 20 in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Daley Yoncak; three sons, Scott of Medford, Alex of Jamesburg and Kurt of Old Bridge; a daughter, Kerry of Old Bridge; his stepmother, Virginia Yoncak; two brothers, Stanley of Marlboro and Richard of Freehold; and seven grandchildren. VERONICA T. PHILLIPS, 74, of Spotswood died April 20 at home. Her husband, Henry Anthony Phillips, died in 1965. Surviving are a daughter, Joan Elizabeth Phillips of Spotswood; two grandchildren, Michael Horvath of Edison and Michelle Zuber of East Brunswick; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on April 24 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment
will follow in Beverly National Cemetery, Burlington.
ALEXANDER BRUNO, 89, of Old Bridge, formerly of Sayreville, died April 8 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Jean Bruno; two sons, Richard A. ROSE A. GROSS, 92, of Sebastian, Fla., formerly of Old Bridge, died April 2 in Palm Garden, Vero Beach, Fla. Her husband, George, died in 1980. Surviving are two sons, Robert W. of Sebastian and George J. of Wading River, N.Y.; a sister, Helen Roeder of Spring Lake; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. VERONICA DZIEDZIC MAKRANSKY, 88, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died April 10 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Makransky, and by two sons, Joseph and Robert Makransky. Surviving are a son, Frank A. Makransky of Parlin; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. HELEN KAMINSKI PAWLOWSKI, 81, of Sayreville died April 11 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was employed as a deputy court clerk in the Sayreville Municipal Court Violations Bureau, where she worked for 13 years. Prior to that, she was the co-owner of Bottsey’s Tavern, Sayreville, for many years. Her husband, Alfred Pawlowski, died in 1976, and a son, Edward Pawlowski, died in 1953. Surviving are a son, Alfred Pawlowski Jr.; a daughter, Linda Pawlowski-Wasileski of Berlin, Germany; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
CHARLES T. PEREZ JR., 48, of Howell died April 9 in JFK Haven Hospice, Edison. He was a wrestling official for the past 20 years and served as vice president of the New Jersey Wrestling Officials Association at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Perez; a daughter, Candace, and a son, Nicholas, both at home; his mother and father, Muriel and Charles Perez Sr. of Old Bridge; and two sisters, Donna Horan of Old Bridge and Dale Serdinsky of the Toms River section of Dover.
