ROBERT J. CZERNIKOWSKI, 62, of Sayreville died April 2 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. His father, former Sayreville Mayor John E. Czernikowski, died in 1995. Surviving are his mother, Florence Gawron Czernikowski of Sayreville; several aunts and uncles, Ann Samuel, Theresa and Frank Lajewski, Bernadine Puchalski, Helen and Dennis Connors and Joan and Joseph French; and many cousins. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
JUDSON C. LANG, 81, of Sayreville died April 1 in Bay Front Medical Center, St. Petersburg, Fla. Prior to his retirement in 1975, he was employed by the Borough of Sayreville Water Department for five years. After his retirement, he worked part time for Laffin Chevrolet, South River. His wife, Henrietta Tischler Lang, died in 1985. Surviving are a son, Loren J. Lang of Rochester Hill, Mich.; a daughter Jamie Ann Szatkowski of High Bridge; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment

SUSAN ALARIO AZZARELLO, 90, of Old Bridge, formerly of Jersey City, died April 2 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Her husband, Joseph, died in 1972. Surviving are two sons, Russell and Guy, both of Old Bridge; a daughter, Nancy Azzarello-Quinn of Old Bridge; a sister, Palma Chimento of Freehold; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Lawrence Church, Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge. Interment

MARGARET RICHARDS REIDMILLER, 78, of the Pedricktown section of Oldmans, formerly of the Madison Park section of Old Bridge, died March 31 at home. Prior to her retirement in 2001, she was employed as a clerk at Amboy Madison National Bank, Old Bridge. Surviving are a daughter, Lynn Reidmiller and her husband Dan Lenco, with whom Mrs. Reidmiller lived; a grandson, Lenny Reidmiller of Old Bridge; a niece; and two great nieces. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment
was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

MILLIE E. SCHOETTLIN ENGEL, 89, of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge died March 29 in Carriage House Manor, Sayreville. Her husband, Henry C. Engel, died in 1986. Surviving are a niece, Barbara Tye of Laurence Harbor; and two nephews, Brian Tye of Jackson and Kevin Tye of Bayville. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment

MARY RYSZTER KOLACZ, 77, of South River died April 3 in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 10 years in the housekeeping department at the Sheraton Hotel, East Brunswick. Before that, she worked as a seamstress for 16 years with the South River Coat Co. Her husband, Stanley, died in 1977. Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Cunningham of Princeton; a son, George Kolacz of Old Bridge; and a grandson. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment
was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
ALICE MURPHY McMURRAY, 77, of Spotswood died March 30 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was predeceased by her husband, John C. McMurray. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Burnett of California; four sons, John McMurray of Maui, Hawaii, Gerard McMurray of Goshen, N.Y., Richard McMurray of Flushing, N.Y., and Marc McMurray of Old Bridge; a friend, Maddie Schron, with whom she lived; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Peace Church, North Brunswick.
STANLEY OCHAT, 84, of Old Bridge died March 28 in Applegarth Care Center, Monroe. Surviving are a sister, Josephine Spicuzza of Monroe, and many nieces and nephews. Services were held in Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment
was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.
JOHN C. CONNERS, 70, of Sayreville died April 2 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1990, he was employed by Johnson and Johnson Personal Products Division, Milltown, where he worked for 37 years. After his retirement he worked part time as a bus monitor for Laidlaw Transit, Morganville section of Marlboro. Surviving are his wife, Joan Wanson Conners; four sons, Jeffrey and Glenn, both of Sayreville, James of Bolton, Mass., and Mark of Jackson; a daughter, Debra Hart of Jackson; three sisters, Laverne Strincoski of Spotswood and Barbara Ann Stader and Catherine Stader, both of Williamstown; and two grandchildren.
