HENRY S. "HANK" ZALESKI, 73, of Sayreville died April 2 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. He was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Meninger. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Majewski Zaleski; a son, Henry Zaleski of Haddonfield; two daughters, Noreen Appleby of South River and Brenda Meninger of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, Benjamin Zaleski of Lake Charles, La.; and six grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
DAVID M. McGRATH, 80, a lifelong resident of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, died April 2 at home. He was predeceased by his brother, Leo M. McGrath. He is survived by two sisters, Catherine McGrath of Cliffwood and Augusta Vreeland of the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen; and his brother, Robert McGrath of Parlin. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Interment
was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
JAMES "JIM" H. DAVIS of Monroe died April 5 at home. He owned Mid Jersey Cleaning Service, Spotswood. Surviving are his daughter, Elissa Davis, and his wife, Judy Davis, both of East Brunswick; his mother, Charlene Ortman of Jefferson, Ga.; two sisters, Sandra Gaskins of Commerce, Ga., and Charlotte Lane of Danville, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Cremation was private.
ROBERT W. TAYLOR, 75, of Sayreville died March 29 in Summerhill Care Center, Old Bridge. A daughter, Beverly Taylor, died in 1985. Surviving are his wife, Theresa H. Lynch Taylor; six daughters, Roxanne Duprey of East Brunswick, June Lahrman of the Brick Town section of Brick, Mary Ann Grice of Arkansas, Claire Couto of Phillipsburg, Deborah Cunha of Sayreville and Jacqueline Agrusa of Keyport; a brother, James Taylor of Kentucky; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville.
GRACE L. RYAN HAWES, 85, of Sayreville died March 23 in Holmdel Convalescent Center. Surviving are her husband, F. Snowell Hawes; a daughter, Louise A. Hawes-Gray of Sayreville; a sister, Jeanne R. Zdanewicz of Dallas; a brother-in-law, Robert Hawes of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters-in-law, Madeline Hawes and Mary Hawes, both of South Amboy, and Helen Ryan of Boynton Beach, Fla.; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and four nieces and a nephew. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment

ROSE EILEEN SHEEHAN KEARNEY, 81, of Sayreville died March 29 in Madison Center, Old Bridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Kearney, and by a great-grandson, Patrick Kearney. Surviving are four sons, Joseph of Sayreville, James and Timothy, both of Old Bridge, and Thomas of Freehold; two sisters, Margaret Hanley of Jersey City; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment
was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
MABEL S. PRESTON, 104, of Old Bridge, formerly of Marlboro, died March 24 in Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. Her husband, Howard J. Preston, died in 1970. Surviving are a son, Howard D. Preston of Gray, Maine; three grandchildren, Peggy Stinson of Belvidere, Daniel Preston of Elkton, Fla., and Janet Samples of Claremont, Fla.; and seven great-grandchildren. A service was held at Old Brick Church, Marlboro. Interment

FRANK MARINO, 76, of Brick and Florida, formerly of Old Bridge, died March 25 in Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, Fla. He owned and operated the Marino Nursery and Garden Center, Matawan, for 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Filippa; a son, Thomas of Old Bridge; two daughters, Carmela Vreeland of Old Bridge and Angie Gallagher of Jackson; one brother; two sisters; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in Marlboro Cemetery.
