ETHEL SULZMAN BROWN, 86, of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of East Brunswick, died March 30 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are her husband, Robert Brown; a son, Robert of South River; a daughter, Lynne Longworth Walford of Tennessee; a brother, William Sulzman; a sister, Hazel Sulzman; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on April 3 in St. Stephen Protomartyr Church, South River. Entombment will follow in Forest Green Park Mausoleum, Morganville section of Marlboro. WILLIAM COTTRELL, 84, of Jamesburg, formerly of Hightstown, died March 29 in Care One, East Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife, Stella Solook Cottrell. Surviving are a sister, Bartella Breslin of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown, with the Rev. Neill Tolboom, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Hightstown, officiating. Interment

ROBERT E. HLUCHY, 60, of Monroe died March 27 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. He was a charter member and past fire chief of the Central Monroe Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, Joyce; three sons, William, Shaun and Robert A., all of Monroe; a daughter, Renee Pedersen, also of Monroe; a brother, James M. Hluchy of the Clarksburg section of Millstone; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. James Church, Jamesburg. Interment
was in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.

JOHN JUREWICZ, 34, of South River died March 29. Surviving are his father, Stanley "Sheik" Jurewicz of South River; his mother, Joyce Funk Jesielowski and her husband Ronald of Fishersville, Va.; a sister, Lori Ryan of Sayreville; and three stepsisters, Colleen Armetta and Marianne Jesielowski, both of Virginia, and Donna Dawe of New Jersey. ALEXANDER LEMENTOWICZ, 75, of East Brunswick died March 26 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Mary; two sons, Alexander J. and Robert A. Lementowicz, both of East Brunswick; a brother, John Lemantovich of Milltown; and two sisters, Lydia Davis of South River and Olga Miller of Garland, Texas. Services were held at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
CHARLES R. NENNINGER, 68, formerly of East Brunswick, died March 30 in Sarasota, Fla. Prior to his retirement in 1995, he was the owner of Charlie’s Barbershop, Milltown. Surviving are his wife, Mary Patrick Nenninger; a son, Donald Jakubowski of North Brunswick; two daughters, Diane Vorraso of the Mercerville section of Hamilton and Beth Pinkiewicz of Sarasota; a sister, Marie Britton of East Brunswick; two grandchildren; a stepgrandson; and many nieces and nephews. JOSEPHINE "DAISY" CONTICELLI CALANDRIELLO, 87, of Sayreville died March 22 at home. Her husband, James W. Calandriello, died in 1981. Surviving are two daughters, Marie Nadratowski of South Amboy and Jeanne Corvo of Jersey City; two sons, James Calandriello Jr., with whom she lived, and Leonard J. Calandriello of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Helen Franchini of West Caldwell, Gloria Lovero of North Arlington and Philomena Conticelli of Cliffside Park; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass was offered in Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
NICOLETTA ALATSAS CHRISTODOULOU, 89, of Sayreville died March 21 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Her husband, Nicholas, died in 1971. Surviving are two daughters, Ethel Kallos of Cape May Beach and Amelia Nafpliotis, with whom she lived; two sons, Louis of Temecula, Calif., and Peter of Springfield, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. ROSE R. EDELMANN of Sayreville died March 24 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Her husband, Jervis P. Edelmann Sr., died in 1988. Surviving are a son, Jervis P. Edelmann Jr. of South Amboy; two daughters, Doreen Sims of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge and Deborah Ann Edelmann of Sayreville; a brother, Charles Best of the Parlin section of Sayreville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services are planned for 11 a.m. on March 28 at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment
