WILLIAM M. HAUG, 49, of South Amboy died Feb. 25 in University Hospital, Newark. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Cattano Haug; two daughters, Amy and Lindsey, both at home; his mother, Violet Glennon Haug of Archer, Fla.; a brother, James Haug, and a sister, Colleen Andersen, both of Archer. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Cremation was private.
ROBERT J. GALLAGHER, 39, of Sayreville died Feb. 25 at home. Surviving are his mother, Margaret Bruce Gallagher, with whom he lived; two brothers, Michael of Sayreville and Daniel of Oradell; and two nephews and one niece. Services are planned for 9 a.m. on March 1 at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville. Cremation was private.
JOHN D. GRYL, 79, of Old Bridge died Feb. 19 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. His wife, Bettie Olinger Gryl, died in 1982. Surviving are two sons, John of Tucson, Ariz., and Robert of Old Bridge; a daughter, Frances of Trout Creek, Montana; a brother, Edward Gryl of Stuart, Fla.; a sister, Jennie Maldonado of Tucson; and two grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment
was in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y.
JOSEPHINE C. HARVEY, 73, of the Morgan section of Sayreville died Feb. 22 at home. She was a nursing instructor for 12 years at the Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing, Perth Amboy. Surviving are a stepsister-in-law, Eleanor Dey; a nephew, Robert Dey; and a cousin, Ann Abbott of Hamilton. Services were held at St. James Church, Woodbridge. Cremation was private.
ROBERT H. KELLY SR., 48, of Old Bridge died Feb. 20 in Calvary Hospital, the Bronx, N.Y. He was the owner of Madison Collision and Madison Expert Auto, Old Bridge. Surviving are his wife, Joan Vidovich Kelly; his father and mother, John Kelly and Eleanor Vann Kelly of West Hempstead, N.Y.; two sons, Robert H. Kelly Jr. and Sean Kelly, both of Old Bridge; a brother, John Kelly of Arlington, Va.; and two sisters, Diane Kelly of Cairo, Egypt, and Patrice Kelly of Arlington. A Mass was offered at St. Joseph’s Church, Keyport. Cremation was private.
AUGUSTINE GALLO MAZANEC, 81, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Feb. 23 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Raymond H. Mazanec, died in 1991. Surviving are two sons, Robert of the Beechwood section of Island Heights and Raymond of Sayreville; a daughter, Denise Anderson of the Toms River section of Dover; a brother, Armand Gallo of Flushing, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Entombment was in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
DORIS PETERS, 86, formerly of Jersey City, died Feb. 13 in Victoria Health Care Center, Matawan. She was predeceased by her husband, Al Peters, and by a son, Dr. Ira Peters. Surviving are a son, Gary Peters of Bensalem, Pa.; a daughter, Carole Berman of Old Bridge; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Services were held at Menorah Chapel, Staten Island, N.Y. Interment
was in Baron-Hirsch Cemetery, also Staten Island.
RALPH H. TEEPE, 68, of Old Bridge died Feb. 23 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Surviving are his wife, Rose Konrad Teepe; three daughters, Elise of Tinton Falls, Jane Duffy of the Westmont section of Haddon and Heidi Griswold of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen; a brother, Ernest of College Point, N.Y.; and four grandsons. Services were held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Old Bridge. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Building Fund.
EDWARD J. BOGIN, 76, of Old Bridge died Feb. 22 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Shirley Howard Bogin, died in 2002. Surviving are three sons, Edward J. Bogin of Old Bridge and Richard Bogin and Andrew Bogin, both of Lakewood; and five grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment
was private.
MARY H. McCAULEY WEEKS, 83, of Old Bridge died Feb. 21 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, James, died in 2002, and a daughter, Noreen Mazzeo, died in 1997. Surviving are three daughters, Kathleen Zur of Glen Ellyn, Ill., Eileen Morello of Bayonne and Maryellen Clark of the Hewitt section of West Milford; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
