FRANK J. FRERICHS, 76, of Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Old Bridge, died Jan. 20 at home. His wife, Mary Passit Frerichs, died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Lori Smith of Spring Hill; two brothers, Edward of Harrison and Fred of Dunwoody, Ga.; and a grandson, Rudolph Howard Smith IV. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
LILLIAN M. STEINMETZ FITZMORRIS, 82, of South Amboy died Jan. 25 at home. Her husband, James J. Fitzmorris Sr., died in 1979. Surviving are a son, James J. Fitzmorris Jr. of Stockton; four daughters, Christina Bulman of Piscataway, Kathryn Vitale of Holmdel, Eileen Smith of Russellville, Ark., and Patricia Kearney of Quakertown, Pa.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 30 at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment

RICHARD ENRIGHT, 73, of Eatontown, formerly of Old Bridge, died Jan. 24 in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. He was an instructor for the U.S. Roller Skating Association and a professional photographer in Monmouth County. Surviving are his daughter, Kim Ciolek of Howell; three brothers, Vincent and Terrence Enright of Florida and Ronald Enright of Oregon; and three granddaughters. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold. Interment
was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
LILLIAN M. WEISSMAN, 73, of Aberdeen, formerly of Old Bridge, died Jan. 25 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was predeceased by her husband, Herrmann Weissmann, in 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Roslyn Fajngold of the Toms River section of Dover; three sons, John Weissmann of Aberdeen, Ronald Weissmann of Little Falls and Paul Weissmann of Monroe; four sisters, Anna Henry, Irene Pringle and Grace Darcy, all of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Margaret Travers of the Whiting section of Manchester; a brother, Sonny Darcy of Staten Island, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Joseph’s Church, Keyport. Interment
was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
ANNAMAE DOXAS ROMAN, 77, of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge died Jan. 20 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. A son, Robert Hannigan, died in 2001. Surviving are her husband, Russell Roman; a son, Steven Hannigan of Edison; two daughters, Mary Anne Prenderville of Spotswood and Karen Zambor of Monroe; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A service was held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Piscataway. Interment
was in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. George Church Memorial Fund.
MARY MARCINCZYK NALEPKA, 82, of Sayreville died Jan. 25 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement, she was the owner of Mary’s Grand Diner, Sayreville. She also was employed by the Sayreville Board of Education as a cafeteria manager at Sayreville High School for many years. Her husband, John, died in 1978. Surviving are three sons, John of Atlantic City, Ralph of Manville and Richard of Sayreville; two sisters, Catherine DeStefano of East Brunswick and Helen Reed of Sayreville; a brother, John Marcinczyk of Sayreville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A service was held at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
WILLIAM MEISCH, 95, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Jan. 21 at home. His wife, Lorraine Peterson Meisch, died in 2002, and a daughter, Lois Meyer, died in 1977. Surviving are two daughters, Gloria Tiedemann, with whom he lived, and Barbara Facciolla of the Forked River section of Lacey; two sons, William Jr. of Arizona and Robert of Bayonne; a sister, Elizabeth Meisch of Hasbrouk Heights; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment
was in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
STEPHEN LAPCHUK, 81, of South Amboy died Jan. 23 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. He was a former captain of Enterprise Hook and Ladder Company, South Amboy. His wife, Marjorie, died in 1998. Surviving are a son, Stephen, with whom he lived; three daughters, Linda Nielsen of the Fords section of Woodbridge and Beverly Connors and Ruth Viens, both of South Amboy; a sister, Olga Sciallo of South Amboy; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A service was held at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
ELISABETH M. HOHNE KOVACS, 80, of Sayreville died Jan. 20 at home. Surviving are her husband, Rudolph Kovacs; two daughters, Susan Restine of Monroe and Linda Kovacs of Sayreville; and three grandchildren, Lisa, Matthew and Peter Restine of Monroe. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, Franklin.
HELEN ANGERSBACH JENSEN, 88, of East Brunswick died Jan. 25 in Care One Center, East Brunswick.
