ALBERT J. GOMOLKA, 85, of the Morgan section of Sayreville died June 3 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1996, he was the owner and operator of Gomolka’s Auto Body, Morgan. Surviving are his wife, Anne F. Benjamin Gomolka; four sons, Albert Gomolka Jr. of Hillsboro, Matthew Gomolka of the Parlin section of Sayreville, David Gomolka of Manalapan and Barry Gomolka of Staten Island, N.Y.; two daughters, Marianne Rand of South Amboy and Susan Gomolka of East Brunswick; three sisters, Sister Mary Gomolka of Mount St. Mary Academy, Watchung, and Frances Dzielak and Edna Weinman, both of South Amboy; and nine grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment
was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
JOSEPH S. FLOREK, 84, of East Brunswick died May 30 at home. Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Florek Plumbing and Heating, South River. He served as the East Brunswick plumbing inspector for 15 years. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Stark Florek; four daughters, Carol Rapestsky of Monroe, Lois Agugliaro of East Brunswick, Mary Clark of Englishtown and JoAnne Parker of Roosevelt; two sisters, Stella Pellowski of Texas and Florence Grondzki of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment

ROSALIE BACHONSKI, 74, of Sayreville died May 30 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1991, she was employed as a film inspector with E.I. DuPont Photo Products Division, Parlin section of Sayreville, where she worked for 30 years. Her husband, Chester, died in 1985, and a son, Brian, died in 1990. Surviving are a son, Wayne Bachonski of Sayreville; two daughters, Christine Lenart-Mireau of Colts Neck and Diane Duncan of Newtown, Conn.; and nine grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Holy Cross Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
STEPHEN "JOE" FERENCE, 88, of Sayreville died May 31 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Mary Dombrowiecka Ference; a sister, Elsie Halka of Englishtown; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment
was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
JAMES P. SCULLY SR., 64, of South Amboy died May 30 at home. Prior to his retirement in 1993, he was employed for 35 years as a chemical operator with E.I. DuPont and Co., Parlin section of Sayreville. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Soden Scully; three sons, Robert J. Scully and John J. Scully, both of South Amboy, and James P. Scully Jr. of Canaan, Maine; two brothers, Leo J. Scully of Massillon, Ohio, and J. Kevin Scully of Lancaster, Pa.; two sisters, Elizabeth M. Massing of the Morganville section of Marlboro and Mary Pat Rydzewski of the Parlin section of Sayreville; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment

FRANK KOHN, 82, of Caulfield, Miss., formerly of Freehold Township, died June 1. Mr. Kohn was born in New York. He served in the U.S. Navy on the battleship USS Washington from 1941-45. He was a resident of Freehold from 1945 until 1954, when he moved to California. He retired from General Telephone in 1982 and moved to Missouri in 1995. He was predeceased by a brother, Barney, and a sister, Lucy. Mr. Kohn is survived by his wife, Edna; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cynthia Kohn, and a granddaughter, all of Caulfield; and two sisters, Emily of Florida and Alice of Texas. Interment
was held at Baxter Memorial Gardens, Missouri.
HARRY N. GREENE, 75, of Hazlet died June 4 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in West New York, he resided there until moving to Hazlet 47 years ago. Mr. Greene was a senior systems designer for the Port Authority or New York and New Jersey for 36 years, retiring in 1987. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was one of the founders of St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel, where he was a communicant and member of the Usher Society. He was a member of the Hazlet Planning Board and a director of the Port Authority Retiree Association. Mr. Greene was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Greene. He is survived by his wife, Anne McDonald Greene of Hazlet; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Joanne Greene of Middletown, and Harry and Constance Greene of Gaithersburg, Md.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Rosemary and Stephen Nelson of Freehold, AnnMarie and Timothy Seely of Hazlet, and Laura Greene of Holmdel; and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Benedict’s Church, followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
ADELE C. KILDUFF, 74, of Middletown died May 15 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Rockville Centre, N.Y., and the Locust section of Middletown prior to moving to Middletown 11 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She was a member of the Middletown Women’s Club and a volunteer for Mobile Meals. She enjoyed time with her family, bocce, golf, travel, the beach, fishing and entertaining for family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John "Jack" Kilduff Sr. of Middletown; three sons and daughters-in-law, John E. and Roberta Kilduff Jr., and Daniel W. and Mary Ann Kilduff, all of Middletown, and Thomas J. and Margaret Kilduff of Freehold; and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment

JOSEPH DeMAYO, 90, of Middletown died May 21 at Meridian Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Red Bank. Born in Lyndhurst, he resided in Nutley prior to moving to Middletown 25 years ago. He owned G&L Stewart Appliance Store, Kearny, for 48 years, retiring in 1981. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Lodge, Red Bank. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Luberto and Theresa Magazino; and his brothers, Anthony DeMayo and Benjamin DeMayo. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Angelina Grillo DeMayo or Middletown; three daughters, Bernadette Hahn of Colts Neck, Doreen Aquino of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Caroline Bagna of Belmar; two sons, Dr. Joseph DeMayo of Clifton, and Gary DeMayo of Lake Hopatcong; three sisters, Anna Terrano of Lodi, Florence Edson of Paramus, and Judy Scancarella of Carlstadt; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. MARION BLAKE, 81, of Wilton, Conn., and formerly of Freehold, died May 15 at Norwalk Hospital, Wilton. Born in the Tennent section of Manalapan, she lived in Freehold before moving to Connecticut. She was an executive secretary with the former Norwalk Savings Society, now Fleet Bank. She was active with the Wilton Woman’s Club and Newcomers Club and was a member of the Wilton Congregational Church. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth W. Blake; twin daughters, Jayne Flynn of Sherman, Conn. and Jeanne Fivaz of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a son, John A. Blake of Wilton; and two grandchildren. Interment
