ANGELA ORSINI LANGE, 60, of Sayreville died April 15 at home. She was a hairdresser for 44 years and worked at Richard’s Hairstyling, Milltown. Surviving are her husband, Frederick L. Lange; two sons, Darren Lange of North Brunswick and Eric Lange of Edison; her mother, Pasqualina Orsini of Sayreville; a brother, Lou Orsini of Mahwah; and two granddaughters. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington.

WALTER DABKOWSKI, 83, of North Brunswick died April 19 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in South River, he was a North Brunswick resident for the past 33 years. He was employed at Rutgers University, Cook College Animal Research Department, New Brunswick, for 37 years, retiring in 1984. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II in the 5th Army, 34th Iowa Division, 133rd Infantry in the North Africa and Italian campaigns. He was a communicant of St. Mary of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church, South River, and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a member of Veter­ans of Foreign Wars, Lyons-Schepsco Post No. 1451, South River. He was predeceased by three sisters, Jennie Najntnick, Edna Cochran and Mary Creamer; a brother, Stanley Dabkowski; and his companion of several years, Ruth Albert. He is survived by two brothers, Benjamin Dabkowski of Lacey Township, and Edward Dabkowski of South River; one niece; and several nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church. Burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, 30 Jackson St., South River, 08882.

GEORGE IOCCA, 85, of North Brunswick died April 7 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, he moved to North Brunswick in 1948. Mr. Iocca was a foreman in the sheet metal shop at Fort Dix for 33 years, retiring in 1980. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cerminaro Iocca of North Brunswick; his son, George Iocca of North Brunswick; his daughter, Janet Hartman of Edison; his brother, James Iocca of Mantoloking; and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Burial will follow at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.

MARIA POTE, 100, of North Brunswick died March 31 at Franklin Convalescent Center. Born in Bogota, Colombia, she resided in Cleveland, North Brunswick and Lakewood before returning to North Brunswick. She was a baby-sitter for various friends and family, retiring in 1969. She was predeceased by her husband, Moses Rincon. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Cross of North Brunswick and Teresa Pote of Bogota, Colombia; a son, Alvaro Gamboa of Bogota; several grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered April 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, South Brunswick.

JAMES BREETVELD, 78, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, died March 26 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New York City, he resided in Kendall Park for the past 46 years. He was a theater critic for the Home News Tribune for more than 10 years, reviewing community theater performances in central New Jersey. Prior to that, he was chief of public information at UNICEF, New York City, for 20 years, retiring in 1985. His work with UNICEF took him and his family to India, where they resided for more than four years. He was the author of eight chil­dren’s books, most written as part of the Getting to Know series. He also contributed to The 100 Most Important People in the World. He is survived by his wife, Maria S. Breetveld of Kendall Park. A memo­rial service was offered at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, South Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 142 Sand Hills Road, South Brunswick, 08852, or the U.S. Committee of UNICEF.

CHARLES R. NENNINGER, 68, for­merly of East Brunswick, died March 30 in Sarasota, Fla. Prior to his retirement in 1995, he was the owner of Charlie’s Barbershop, Milltown. Surviving are his wife, Mary Patrick Nenninger; a son, Donald Jakubowski of North Brunswick; two daughters, Diane Vorraso of the Mercerville section of Hamilton and Beth Pinkiewicz of Sarasota; a sister, Marie Britton of East Brunswick; two grand­children; a step-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. A service is planned for 10 a.m. on April 5 at Simpson United Methodist Church, Old Bridge. Memorial contributions may be made to Newgrange School, 526 S. Olden Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08629.

DOUGLAS J. RONK, 44, of North Brunswick died Jan. 5. Born in Kenmore, N.Y., he resided in Bridgewater and North Plainfield before moving to North Brunswick two years ago. He was a data entry clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, Princeton, for the past year. Prior to that, he owned Ronk Software Services, New York City, for 15 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. He was a graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, as well as an Eagle Scout. He is survived by his former wife, Mary Anne McKean Ronk; and their four children, Christopher, Patrick, Meghan and Katie Ronk, all of Raritan Borough; his parents, James and Arvilla McClory Ronk of North Brunswick; two sisters, Carol Lagowski of North Brunswick, and Donna Hyers of the Belford section of Middletown; and three brothers, Richard Ronk and Lawrence Ronk, both North Brunswick, and Edward Ronk of Edison. Visitation will be Jan. 9 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick. A funeral service will be held Jan. 10 at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. Interment will be at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, 4315 Route 1, South Brunswick 08852.

EILEEN SINIBALDI PARILLO, 87, of North Brunswick died Jan. 4 at Applegarth Care Center, Monroe. Born in Homer City, Pa., she resided in Highland Park before moving to North Brunswick 32 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick, as well as its Golden Age Club. She was a member of the North Brunswick Italian American Club, the North Brunswick Democratic Club, and the North Brunswick Pioneers. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent J. Parillo, in 2002; a brother, Arthur Sinibaldi; and a sister, Alice Sinatra Seres. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and Leo Pado of Brick, Donna and James Carolan of North Brunswick, and Pam and Jerry Butler of East Windsor; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. Entombment was at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick. Funeral arrangements were handled by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

IRENE ETHEL KIMMER, 84, of North Brunswick died Dec. 29 at Little Brook Nursing Home, Califon. Born in Bayonne, she resided in North Brunswick for more than 50 years before moving to Long Valley two years ago. She was employed in the cafeteria at Parsons Elementary School, North Brunswick, for 20 years, retiring in the 1980s. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at New Brunswick. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Highland Park Chapter; and the North Brunswick Senior Citizens Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilton Kimmer Sr., in 1986. she is survived by a daughter, Colleen Hopkins of Long Valley; a son, Wilton Kimmer Jr. of New Hampton; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Burial was at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.

KATHERINE B. PAVELEC, 87, of Milltown died Jan. 1 in Franklin Care Center, Franklin Township. She was predeceased by her husband, William Pavelec. Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Yasbin of North Brunswick; a son, Barry Pavelec of the Kingston section of South Brunswick; a brother, David Beatty of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment was in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
