MARY DEL ROSSO, 87, of Keyport died Jan. 28 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in New York City, she was a longtime resident of Matawan. Mrs. Del Rosso was a homemaker and secretary for her husband’s general contractor business. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She was a member of the Keyport Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Del Rosso Sr., in 1985. She is survived by three sons, Dominic J. Del Rosso, Edward J. Del Rosso Jr., and Robert H. Del Rosso, all of Matawan; four daughters, Pauline Redmond of Keyport, Gloria Dimech of Jackson, Rose Bering of Spokane, Wash., and Angelina Henderson; two sisters, Eleanor Esposito and Anna Springvloed; two brothers, Emanuel Mazza and Sam Mazza; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Burial was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
WILLIAM T. HOLDS JR., 83, of Hazlet died Jan. 29 at Coler Rehabilitation, Roosevelt Island, N.Y. Born in Newark, he resided in East Orange prior to moving to Hazlet 44 years ago. Mr. Holds was a tool and dye maker at Lily Tulip, Holmdel, for 20 years, retiring in 1983. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Otteau Holds of Hazlet; and two sisters, Peggy Binkley of Toms River and Elizabeth Rothenburger of California.
VERONICA WIECZOREK JAY, 86, of Keyport died Jan. 29 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in South Amboy, she resided in the Morgan section of Sayreville and in Gardner, N.C., before moving to Keyport in 1999. Mrs. Jay was a former communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley C. Jay, in 1998; and her brother, Leon Wieczorek, in 1984. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley J. and Annette Jay of Garner, N.C., and Joseph R. and Mary Jay of Keyport; two sisters, Julia Zagata of Sayreville and Antoinette Smykay of Morgan; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
EMMA S. WARTH, 88, of Holmdel died Jan. 29 at Bayshore Health Center, Holmdel. Born in St. Gallen, Switzerland, she resided in New Brunswick and Toms River prior to moving to Holmdel two years ago. Mrs. Warth was a homemaker. She was a communicant of and member of the Golden Age Club at St. Mary’s of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. She was a member of the Senior Center of New Brunswick singing group, as well as its Wednesday Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin Warth, in 1985, and a brother, Andrew Schoeb. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Doris Schoeb of Iselin; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Mary’s of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church. Burial was at Ocean County Memorial Park Cemetery, Toms River.
DOLORES GREZKI DALZELL, 61, of Keyport died Jan. 30 at home. Born in New Jersey, she resided in Matawan prior to moving to Keyport two years ago. Mrs. Dalzell was a housekeeper. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh Dalzell. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Deborah Dalzell; and two grandsons.
JOSEPH JOHN PETTINATO IV, 46, of Manalapan Township died Jan. 27 at home. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Hazlet most of his life, moving to Manalapan in 1985. He was co-owner of J.B. Sales and Service, Hazlet. He was an active member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Englishtown. He is survived by his wife, Robin; a son, Joseph John V, Manalapan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Jose Cruz, Howell, and Jessica and John Henry Broering, Freehold; his parents Joseph and Joan, Hazlet; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Bonnie Pettinato, Manalapan; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra Joan and Joseph Puccio, Hazlet, Ellen Marie and James Compesi, Garfield, Maryann and Michael Scotti, Aberdeen, Lori Ann and Mark Lear, Morgan, and Joyce Lynn and Kevin Murphy, Middletown; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Jan. 30 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. FRANK G. WARNER, 91, of Farmingdale died Jan. 29 at Care One at Holmdel. He was born in Union City and lived in Freehold Township before moving to Farmingdale 17 years ago. He was employed at Central Jersey Bank and Trust Company, Freehold, for 31 years before his retirement as a vice president in 1977. Prior to that he was employed at Second National Bank, Red Bank, for 17 years. He was an instructor for the American Institute of Banking, a former president of the National Association of Bank Auditors and Comptrollers, and a member of the Monmouth County Bankers Association. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Freehold, where he was a member of the choir for 46 years, and a member of the board of trustees, memorial committee, and administrative board of the church. He was a member of Holland Orchards Golf Club, Marlboro Township, and was treasurer of the Men’s Golf Association. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Massey Warner, in 1982. Surviving are three sons, Frank F. Warner, Kennett Square, Penn., David Warner, Freehold Township, and Jack Warner, Jackson Township; three daughters, Betsy Taylor, North Palm Beach, Fla., Judith Myrs, Red Bank, and Karen Warner, Freehold Township; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held at the First United Methodist Church, Freehold, Feb. 1. Memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund of First United Methodist Church, 91 W. Main, Freehold, 07728.
DAVID W. TIMIDAISKI, 79, of Colts Neck died Jan. 30 at Rahway Hospital, Rahway. He was born in Colts Neck and resided there most of his life. He worked as a sales manager for Lawes Fuel Oil, Shrewsbury. He was an Army fighter pilot during World War II. He was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck, and a former member of the Colts Neck Shade Tree Commission. Surviving are his wife Peggy Timidaiski of Colts Neck; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Timidaiski of Eatontown, and Joseph Timidaiski and Kathleen Tanner of Lawsonville, N.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and John Rener of Middletown; a brother, James of Issaquah, Wash.; a sister, Leona Congell of Atlantic Highlands; and two grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Mary’s Church. Interment

NICHOLAS E. AMENDOLA, 88, of Keyport died Feb. 1 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark, he resided in Irvington and Hillside before moving to Keyport 12 years ago. Mr. Amendola was a baker at Nabisco Inc., Newark, for 30 years, retiring in 1965. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Mr. Amendola was predeceased by his wife, Mary J., in 2001; and three siblings. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas J. and Joan Amendola of Keyport; nine brothers and sisters; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
WILLIAM L. BARCLAY, 80, of Whiting died Feb. 2 at St. Barnabas Hospice, Long Branch. Born in Hart Hill, Scotland, he resided in Rumson, Middletown, and Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Whiting two years ago. Mr. Barclay was the retired owner and operator of Jim’s Automotive Paint & Body, Staten Island. He was a member of the Lakehurst Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Springfield. His activities included time with his family and travel. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Lois Watkins Barclay, in 1999. He is survived by his son, Laird Barclay; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra L. and Anthony Carasia of Fair Haven, and Kimberly A. and George Landi of Barnegat; three sisters, Cathie Pastrof, Cis Pastrof and Ella McMunn, all of Lakehurst; and eight grandchildren. was at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
