Robert J. McGuire
Mr. McGuire, 77, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Dec. 18 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. He was a foreman of car inspections and the maintenance department at NJ Transit for 40 years, retiring in 1988. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. Mr. McGuire was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen McGuire, in 1967. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary White McGuire; four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Katherine McGuire of Toms River, Robert and Jeannine McGuire of Sayreville, Patrick and Caryl McGuire of Old Bridge, and Dennis and Dianna McGuire of Old Bridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Don Donnelly of Sayreville; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Mary’s Church, followed by burial at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Arrangements were by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin.
Frank S. Patrick
Mr. Patrick, 79, of East Brunswick died Dec. 3 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1987, he and his brothers owned John Patrick and Sons Contracting, South River, for 42 years. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Timko Patrick; a son, Frank Patrick of Hillsborough; two daughters, JoAnn Patrick-Ezzell of Sarasota, Fla., and Kathy Zondlo of Knoxville, Tenn.; a brother, Joseph Patrick of East Brunswick; three sisters, Elizabeth "Pat" Righetti of East Brunswick, Irene Goldstein of Monroe and Mary Nenninger of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; a grandson; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Stephen Protomartyr Church, South River. Interment
was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083.
Alfred W. Adams
Mr. Adams, 60, of Jackson, formerly of Sayreville, died Dec. 9 at home. He was a math and computer teacher at Cedar Ridge High School, Old Bridge. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Adams; a daughter, Toby Adams of Freehold; his mother, Anna Ankudowicz of West Melbourne, Fla.; and a sister, Eleanor DeLucia of Manahawkin. A service was held at C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell. Interment

Lottie F. Ciecko Wolack
Mrs. Wolack, 87, of South River died Dec. 12 at home. Her husband, Joseph, died in 1983. Surviving are a son, Joseph Wolack of South River; a daughter, Marlene Stankus of Mercerville the section of Hamilton; a sister, Valeria Strugala of Sayreville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Ruth Kulesa Haring
Mrs. Haring, 56, of Monroe, formerly of Sayreville and South River, died Dec. 9 in the Elms Nursing Home, Cranbury. Prior to her retirement in 1997, she was an executive assistant for the Monroe Township Utility Authority, where she worked for 15 years. Surviving are her husband, Charles "Chuck" Haring; two daughters, Donna Haring of North Brunswick and Dawn Bladzinski of South River; her parents, Peter and Mary Paprota Kulesa of Sayreville; a brother, Richard Kulesa of South Brunswick; and a granddaughter. A Mass was offered at St. James Church, Jamesburg. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Charles H. Bradford
Mr. Bradford, 78, of Milltown died Dec. 12 in the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years, the last 10 years as postmaster of the Milltown Post Office. He was a past president of the Milltown Chamber of Commerce. His wife, Grace Goodwin Bradford, died in 1993; a daughter, Linda Sue Vahle, died in 1997; and a granddaughter, Kristen Bradford, died in 1992. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara A. Gasper of Evesham and Judith G. Bartocci of Monroe; a son, Charles H. Bradford Jr. of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three sisters, Ruth Diblin of Jamesburg, Jane Clement of New Mexico and Alice Locke of Lavalette; two brothers, William Bradford of Florida and Fred Bradford of New Jersey; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services were held at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Interment

Mary R. Garboski Siewierski
Mrs. Siewierski, 96, of South River died Dec. 8 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement in 1972, she was employed as a seamstress at Rutgers Cloak, South River. Her husband, John "Red" Siewierski, died in 1988, and a daughter, Laverne Adamusik, died in 1989. Surviving are a daughter, Rita Beisser of East Brunswick; a son-in-law, John Adamusik of South River; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment

Millicent "Penny" Takach Grosse
Mrs. Grosse, 62, of East Brunswick died Dec. 8 at home. Prior to her retirement in 1997, she was a teacher at St. Mary’s Elementary school, South River, for 10 years. She also was employed by the Old Bridge Township Board of Education as a teacher at Voorhees School. Surviving are a son, Adam Grosse of East Brunswick; her parents, Victor and Pearl Lanczki Takach of Franklin; and a sister, Ellen Sills of East Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
Richard Spitzenfeil
Mr. Spitzenfeil, 74, of Old Bridge died Dec. 11 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1996, he was a security guard at Wells Fargo, North Brunswick, where he worked for six years. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Hoffman Spitzenfeil; a daughter, Denise Marabeti of Bristol, Conn.; two sons, Stephen Doell and Andrew Doell; a sister, Gloria Jean Glammer of Harleysville, Pa.; and a granddaughter. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
Alfred P. Young
Mr. Young, 57, of South River, formerly of Old Bridge, died Nov. 16 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his mother, Sarah E. Dill Young of Jackson; a sister, Sarah E. Berendt of Manalapan; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, Arlene McGuire. Graveside services were held at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.
