Marie Johnson English Langdon
Mrs. Langdon, 86, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Oct. 10 at the home of her niece, with whom she lived. Prior to her retirement in 1989, she was employed for many years as a crossing guard for the Sayreville Board of Education. Before that, she was the owner of the S and M Diner and English’s Sweet Shop, both Parlin. She was predeceased by two husbands, Earl Joseph English and Milford "Mel" Langdon, and by a son, Milford Langdon Jr. Surviving are a son, Gilbert Johnson of Harborton, Va.; a daughter, Cecelia Hoyt of Harvey’s Lake, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Interment
was in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.
Florence Costabile Criscuolo
Mrs. Criscuolo, 80, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Oct. 11 in Carriage House Manor, Sayreville. Her husband, Salvatore L. Criscuolo, died in 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Lucille Penn of Parlin; a son, Fred Criscuolo of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Louis Costabile of Gilroy, Calif.; two sisters, Lena Catello of Long Branch and Helen Rescigno of Eatontown; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Entombment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Neil Pannetta
Mr. Pannetta of Old Bridge died Oct. 12 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by a son, Neil Patrick Pannetta. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Sepulveda Pannetta; a daughter, Debra Totten of Old Bridge; and a grandson, Christopher Totten. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on Oct. 16 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment
will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Joan Grayvish
Ms. Grayvish, 88, of Old Bridge died Oct. 9 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
Dawn Marie Florence Bonczek
Mrs. Bonczek, 35, of Virginia Beach, Va., formerly Old Bridge, died Oct. 8 in Keyport. She was a self-employed hairdresser. She was predeceased by her father, Edward Florence. Surviving are her husband, Paul Bonczek of Virginia Beach; her mother, Arline Turner of Keyport; a sister, Debra Steele of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a brother, Edward Warnock of Cape Coral, Fla. Arrangements were under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
Arthur J. Venneri
Mr. Venneri, 59, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Oct. 7 in Overlook Hospital, Summit. He was the owner and operator of Arthur Venneri Construction Co., Parlin, for the past 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Kathi McCloud Venneri; three children, Justin Venneri of Bayville, Jeanne Venneri of Richmond, Va., and Eric McCloud of Parlin; two sisters, Marlilyn Irlbeck of Cranford and Arleen Post of Mountainside; and his former wife, Mary Alonge of Bayville. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Entombment was in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Dolph J. Anthony
Mr. Anthony, 93, of Sayreville died Oct. 13 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. His wife, Margaret B. Anthony, died in 1993; a son, Robert W. Anthony, died in 2000; and a daughter-in-law, Regina Anthony, died in 1993. Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Eppinger of Sayreville; six grandsons; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Visitation is set for 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Oct. 16 at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. A Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 17 at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment
will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y.
Lloyd G. Wallace Sr.
Mr. Wallace, 70, of East Brunswick died Oct. 8 at home. A daughter, Theresa Wallace, died in 1989. Surviving are his wife, Anna Yasson Wallace; four sons, Lloyd Wallace Jr. and James Wallace, both of Spotswood, Robert Wallace of Old Bridge and Mark Wallace of East Brunswick; two daughters, Louise Pasqua of Hamilton and Elizabeth Tattory of Yardley, Pa.; a brother, Paul Wallace of Lehighton, Pa.; and two sisters, Mary Handwerk of Spotswood and Shirley Krosulic of Mohoning, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Toto, 77, of East Brunswick died Oct. 10 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was a founding member of Toto Brothers Inc., East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Theresa; three sons, Anthony of Clovis, Calif., Lenny of Freehold and Ralph of Monroe; three daughters, Caroline Chemerynski of Flemington, Maria O’Connor of Winchester, Mass., and Teresa DiCarolo of East Islip, N.Y.; two brothers, Louis and Antonio; a sister, Mafalda Nervegna; a sister-in-law, Isabelle Toto; and 13 grandchildren.
